    A Girl Like You

This one just made my heart full of good feelings and left me with a smile. I just knew grumpy Sam was full of so much goodness but when he met Shelby Abbott he was floored and she left him nervous and tongue tied. She may be the pastor's daughter and the head librarian but Sam brings out the real Shelby and she blossoms and comes into her own. I definitely recommend this one and I'm not telling you anything else about it, just grab a copy and read it, you will not be disappointed! **Received this ARC for review**

    Loved it

5 Star Review of A Girl Like You (Magnolia Sound #2) by Samantha Chase I was intrigued by Sam Westbrook from the first time he appeared in the series. I knew that the woman who would finally tame the wild man would have to be unique and someone special; that is certainly Shelby Abbott. I also knew that there was so much more to him than his reputation. When Sam is forced to move back to Magnolia Sound to meet the terms of his great grandfathers will, he is resentful. Particularly since it appears that the towns folk have not forgotten his juvenile hijinks. Shelby is shocked when Sam pays her attention, after all she has always been a “good” girl. I loved how Sam’s attention brings out Shelby’s inner strength, determination and how she blossoms. I also loved how all in Shelby was in her support of Sam. Sam and Shelby are total opposites and yet they really do belong together. Is Shelby the woman who can soothe the savage beast? Will she be able to handle a fling knowing that Sam’s time in Magnolia Sound is limited? A Girl Like You is a spicy, romantic, love story that was heartwarming. I was so happy that they were able to navigate through all the issues they both had and get their happily ever after. Although this can be read as a stand alone, I recommend that you also one click the other two books in the series as they are just as enjoyable.

    All the feels

This a book with all the feels and I was captivated from the first chapter to the last page. Magnolia Sound feels like home it’s a place I can connect with and I love the residents and all the love and loyalty that surrounds them. Sam Westbrook is only back in his hometown because of his grandfather’s will stipulation, he needs to run the landscaping business for a year and if after that he wants to move on then fine but for now he is living in his own worst nightmare because everyone in this small town seems to only see the wild child and not the man he has now become.... Shelby Abbott is the town librarian and daughter of pastor Steve and she is the girl that has never rebelled well unless you count having LASIK surgery against her families believe that it was a waste of money. Shelby and Sam meet in a bar and the attraction is instant but as much as she is attracted to him she believes the bad boy would not want to be with a good girl like her..... I loved watching this couple get to know each other and seeing their relationship grow but love isn’t always easy especially when your reputation succeeds you and Sam needs to prove he has changed his way to win over the town folk of Magnolia Sound. This book has it all, characters with sizzling chemistry, secondary characters who have depth, I laughed, I sighed and I found myself wishing for a HEA for Sam and Shelby. Magnolia Sound is a great addition to this great series and I can’t wait to get Mason’s story which I believe is coming next.

A Girl Like You - Good Girl Loves Bad Boy

A Girl Like You by Samantha Chase is the third book in the Magnolia Sound series. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the books in the series. The books are wonderfully written and I love the characters and the setting. I really enjoy how Samantha Chase writes from the perspective of the main characters, that way you get the point of view of each of the characters. A Girl Like You is the story of "bad boy" Sam Westbrook and the pastor's daughter Shelby Abbott. Sam returns to Magnolia Sound following the death of his great-grandfather, Ezekiel "Zeke" Coleman. In his will Zeke leaves Sam his landscaping business since Sam is the only family member that Zeke felt had a "green thumb", but their are strings attached to Sam's inheritance. Sam must run the landscaping business in Magnolia Sound for one year, if he sells before the year is up, Sam's cousin Mason will inherit the proceeds from the sale. Sam and Shelby meet during a chance encounter in a bar in Wilmington. Both wanting to put some distance between themselves and Magnolia Sound. Shelby knows who Sam is, but Sam does not know that Shelby is the pastor's daughter. In his youth, Sam was a wild child and because Magnolia Sound is such a small town, no one will give him the benefit of the doubt that he has changed, including Shelby's parents. As the romance blossoms between Sam and Shelby, the residents of Magnolia Sound continue to talk behind their backs. No only does Shelby hear the gossip, she questions Sam's commitment to her and Magnolia Sound. She knows that Sam only plans on staying in Magnolia Sound for the year and then selling the business. Is Shelby willing to risk her heart on a romance with an expiration date? I love the characters and how the story is filled with bittersweet moments and of course the surprise plot twist. I love how both Sam and Shelby changed throughout the story. Samantha Chase has once again delivered an amazing story of love conquers all. Looking forward to starting In Case You Didn't Know.

    Back to the Sound

This is another story from Magnolia Sound. The Westbrook family we met in Sun Kissed Days and Remind Me continues to grow. This is Sam Westbrook’s story. Sam is being forced to stay in Magnolia Sound to carry out his great-grandfather’s last wishes. He left Sam the landscaping business and it is all Sam can do to put in the year required. Shelby Abbott is the preacher’s daughter. She’s always done the right and expected thing…until she falls for the town bad boy. Except the bad boy has grown up into a decent man and Shelby wants everyone to know it. Can their new love help overcome years of expectations on both of them? Another can’t-put-down story from Samantha Chase. Can’t wait for Mason’s story…
