  • A Heart not easily Broken

The author has a brilliant writing style and has skilfully crafted a great story. A colored man who used his psychology degree to win girls and take advantage of them. He also used his friendship with a white mate, he raped his mate's girlfriend. It brought the 3 girls together to a strong place and his white mate married his girlfriend. My review is awful but this story I'd great

  • ⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️

As someone that has experienced violence and knows women that have experienced violence in some form, this book is incredibly triggering. I think the author needs to update the book to include a trigger warning. It's the responsible thing to do. I had bouts of anxiety that were triggered twice during different points in the story. Aside from the painful triggers, it was a really good book. I would've rated it 5-stars but not knowing that there were going to be scenes of sexual violence depicted in the book didn't prepare me and truly dampened the experience.

  • A Heart Not Easily Broken

On the surface this book is about three friends who live together, their lives and loves. But it is so much more. Including a coming of age encouragement, a primer in goal setting and reaching, a reminder of evil and how to handle and how not to handle it. As well as a celebration of life and love. It will awaken your soul and promises to stay with you long after the last page has been turned.

  • Romance

I loved this story as she tackled interracial relationships. I myself am in an interracial relationship and can understand the stigma. I feel blessed that our relationship is still going strong after 30 years.
