    A Delightful Read!!

*This review is for Coming Home to Christmas Town, one of the books in this box set.* This book consists of 3 novellas each focusing on a different Wright sister after the death of their father. In their hometown of Christmas Town, the sisters must figure out a way to put their lives back together after their father passes away. They have each inherited a piece of property and each one must decide what to do with their inheritance. Could this be the change they each need to start their lives afresh? I loved this whole set! I especially loved that each book focused on a different sister, but they’re all tied together. The writing was great on all three books and they were like a breath of fresh air. These are good, clean stories that were engaging and a great prelude to the Christmas season! I loved them all! The Comeback Christmas Chloe finds herself back in her hometown after burying her beloved father. She’s crumbling under a mountain of debt from a business venture gone wrong and still nursing her grief. As she’s desperately searching for a way to get out from under her failed car wash business she runs into her old flame, Teddy Lincoln. As high schoolers, they had a magical night together making Chloe think that they’d be together forever. Little did she know that Teddy would dump her the next day to marry his pregnant ex-girlfriend. Even though Teddy & his wife lost the baby and their marriage didn’t last more than a couple years, Chloe still feels betrayed years later. And to top it off, Chloe won’t admit that Teddy has the key to getting her out of debt, if only she’d sell him the old mill that she inherited. Headstrong and stubborn, she doesn’t want anything to do with Teddy, including selling him the mill. But after being forced to spend time together, they both realize that they may be able to help each other out. But is it strictly business between them? Or could there be love as well? This was a great book that was SO easy to read that I was done in no time. The writing just flows so well and the story is so engaging. Not to mention that the two main characters have oodles of chemistry. It was a fun, light-hearted read. If you’re looking for an entertaining story that’ll warm your heart, then this is the book for you. I promise you’ll have a hard time putting it down! Highly recommended! Bells Are Ringing Marnie Wright and Sam Collins have been best friends since grade school. So when Sam doesn’t seem terribly excited that Marnie got accepted into design school in New York, she gets confused. Eventually, however, Sam comes around and even helps Marnie remodel the local wedding chapel for her portfolio project. It’s a huge undertaking, but Sam is determined to help Marnie complete the remodel. What Marnie doesn’t realize is that Sam is trying to win her heart and convince her to stay. But when tragedy befalls the chapel, his plans are destroyed. Will he still be able to win her heart? Or will her dream of becoming an interior designer get in the way? I REALLY liked this book. I loved the idea of two best friends possibly finding love. The characters were likeable and the plot was really fun with the remodel of the chapel. It was such a fun story that I read it in just a few short hours. This is a fun, light read that’s sure to entertain! I highly recommend it! Home By Christmas David Parker brings his twin daughters back to his vacation home in Christmas Town, hoping to get them into the Christmas spirit. The young girls have been through quite a bit with their parents divorcing and then their mother getting killed in a car accident. It doesn’t help that David is a busy attorney who never fails to put his clients before his loved ones. What David didn’t expect was to run into Noelle Wright, his former love. Noelle is less than thrilled to see David and is completely shocked when he asks her to watch his girls while he heads back to Boston to help a client. Understanding firsthand how David can be, Noelle reluctantly agrees to watch the girls. Although she’s tried to build up walls to protect herself, Noelle can’t help falling for David’s daughters. David tries to convince Noelle that he’s really changed and that he is capable of putting his family first. But has he really changed? And is Noelle willing to risk her heart again? This was a really sweet story about love, trust, and forgiveness. It was also a great reminder to not neglect those we love. This was another really easy read with great characters that can be finished in just a few hours. It’s entertaining, fun, and full of love and will be sure to warm your heart and put you in the Christmas mood! I highly recommend this book!

    Holiday Stories!

Oh, how I love holiday books! I had the opportunity to read Book #1 and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was great to go back to Christmas Town! I've read books set in this town before and it was a pleasure to revisit it! Book #1 is about 3 adopted sisters who face their first Christmas without their father who recently died. Each has inherited something from their father and that is the focus of the story. THE COMEBACK CHRISTMAS BY MELINDA CURTIS: This story focuses on Ted Lincoln and Chloe Wright. Chloe inherited the grist mill from her father but it needs to be sold to pay off her debts. She is pretty much bankrupt and needs money. Ted wants to buy it but he and Chloe have history and she doesn't want to sell it to him. Ted has a lot of family pressures with his family apple orchard plus his family members all have issues. He's barely hanging on! Ted and Chloe have known each other for many years and once had a relationship. I liked this story a lot and their "banter" made this story fun! BELLS ARE RINGING BY ANNA J. STEWART: Marnie Wright inherited her father's wedding chapel. Sam has been her best friend for many years. Marnie has wanted to go to design school forever and decides that THIS is the time she's going to do it. She's going to apply to the school and use the renovation of the wedding chapel as her application project. Sam says he will help her (but he doesn't really want her to leave since he's really in love with her!). They do amazing things with the wedding chapel and grow very close in the process. I thought Sam was a fantastic character. He did SO much for Marnie and was so supportive! Although he loves her, he's willing to make her dream come true! When a fire happens and practically destroys the chapel, Sam comes through again for Marnie. The last 2 chapters of the story were very tear-jerking for me! What Sam does for Marnie is SO thoughtful and special! Read it to find out!!! A HOME BY CHRISTMAS BY ANNA STEWART: A Christmas collection wouldn't be complete without a story with children! Noelle Wright is running the donut shop. David, who is her former best friend/love, brings his 2 children to Christmas town for the holidays. His ex-wife has recently died and the children need a happy Christmas. Noelle has a hard time seeing David with children when she wanted to be married to him and have children. David was a workaholic when they were together and that's why she left him. However, she falls in love with his girls and agrees to help him bring Christmas to them. In the process, she forgives him and they fall back in love again. This is a sweet book about forgiveness and how two foster kids deal with all the losses they have during their lives. Each react differently! I highly recommend this book!!!!

    Love Heartwarming Christmas Romances

I have read the first set of stories in the boxed set, but all three stories were wonderful. All of stories take place in Christmas Town, who wouldn't want to live there. They are all clean romances, with no cliff hangers. The first set of novellas deal with three adopted sisters gather at the family home after their dad passes away, for closure of the house. In Comeback Christmas by Melinda Curtis, deals with Chloe and Ted, longtime friends. Chloe inherited the mill and is in financial difficulties. Ted needs the property for his family farm to save his family. I love how these two come together and help save each other. In Bells Are Ringing by Anna Stewart, deals with Marnie and Sam. Marnie has a lifetime chance to attend a design school. She has inherited the chapel in town. Sam, local carpenter, has offered to help fix up the chapel, then when everything is going along a fire devastates all her dreams. Or are her dreams just about ready to come true. In Home By Christmas by Anna Adams, deals with Noelle and David. Noelle and David had a relationship a long time ago. David has returned home, divorced and raising his twin daughters after his ex wife has died. David is a family lawyer, who always wants to help everyone but forgets about his own. Love how Noelle got him to see how important family is. This is a wonderful group of books that will sure get you in the mood for the upcoming holiday season. I love how each story only took me an hour to read. Great for all of our busy lives. Looking forward to reading the rest of the stories.
