  • Good read

I enjoyed this book, my first by this author and not my last. Lots going on with both Will and Erin, good plot and some good humour throughout, not to mention some hot romance.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • A plot to keep one guessing to the end

If you cannot trust your own father, who can you trust? This is Erin's dilemma, given the estrangement between herself and her police chief father. When Will Patton crash-landed at Erin's feet, falling into her hands turns out to be one of the best accidents of timing he has ever had. Firstly, with Erin's background and training, he gets the instant care that he needs for his injuries, but secondly, she is the police chief's daughter, the same chief that he is investigating. On paper, he has been promoted take over the public prosecutor's position in Lost Coast Habor, but in reality, he knows that he has been sidelined to keep him from asking embarrassing questions. However, in a town that is rotten to the core, Will discovers that he too has a dilemma, especially when he starts to fall for Erin. The story is fast-paced and suspense, keeping one's interest from start to finish. I enjoyed the main characters and the fact that despite the background manipulation, they were still able to learn to trust one another. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
