    A Lesson in Dying

This is the first in a series written by Ann Cleeve. Introducing the reader to a new detective. The storyline is a good one which could have been improved on by the author. Lacks depth and quality but still worthwhile reading.

OK but not as good as the Vera series.

    Expected more

Having been a fan of the Shetland and Vera mysteries, I was looking forward to the new Inspector Ramsay. Perhaps the new series will develop over time, but this first novel is weak and lacking depth. I am a tad disappointed.

    I love ann cleeves

Its rice crispie cake of suspense books, satisfying and a bit predictable but still delicious
