Go home, Little Red. 5 GOLDEN WOLVES

I’m way too much Big Bad Wolf for you to handle. She had poked the Big Bad Wolf and she hoped she wouldn’t regret it. WHAT A HOWLING GR-R-R-REAT STORY!!! Now this is EXACTLY the story that Caitlyn needed, that I wanted and Merryn delivered! Oh baby did she ever!! I was horrified at what Caitlyn has been living with for the past 10 years! I don't know how she did it! Thankfully, Mates are the cure! wink You will have to read the book to make sense of that comment, because, yes, I DID say Mates, with an 's'. snicker I love how things played out, not just for Caitlyn & Ven, but with everyone else in the Pack & town, as well. I actually am surprised to say this, but I am glad it wasn't any longer! I'm not sure I could have handled more story! Between my nerves, tears and anticipation, then the wealth of emotion that came with the last part of the book, I was emotionally exhausted! Yes, I was THAT enthralled by in, that consumed by it, mind, body, spirit and soul. I actually found it hard to pull back from the story, thrilled to be part of the Pack, if just for a short while. “He was in Heaven. He was in Hell.” That sums up my feelings too! in Heaven for a new Merryn Dexter book to read. In Hell because I read it the same day I got it, and I now have to wait for the next one!! Good thing I can read these over & over again while I wait.  I fell in love with Merryn & her writing skills with A Mate's Healing Touch, but it has now turned into something more indescribable, more permanent. The way she tells a story, the realness of it, that tangible quality that connects me to the story, to the characters, reaches out and pulls me into the story where I experience it, live it, with and as the characters. I will admit that I bawled through most of the story, but that is even more proof - as if you really needed more - of just how FURNOMENALLY talented Merryn truly is! I truly love everything about her & her books, and I look forward to being beyond entertained for many, many, books to come, over & over again!! (Want to know just how eager I was to read this book? I dropped it onto my tablet as soon as I saw it hit my email, and promptly snuggled up on the couch and read it in its entirety in one sitting, mere hours after getting it!! The wait was worth it!! But I still don't like to wait! :-) )

A Mate’s Redeeming Touch by Merryn Dexter

Title:  A Mate's Redeeming Touch  Series: Black Hills Wolves Destination:Book 44, Stand Alone, 83 Pages Author: Merryn Dexter Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Genre: #PRN #WolfShifters My Score:          Book 10 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆          Series 100 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢▪♢ I really love to read Black Hills Wolves this is 44 in this series. Each book was written by a different Author of course you know there's a lot of authors writing several stories for this series, that's just what makes it a fantastic series. And #44 is no exception, Ms. Dexter write such a phenomenal story that I felt the Sadness, Anger, Humiliation, Fear then Happiness of Pack, Family and Love. Ven Thorne is a wolf shifter, that likes to patrol in the northern section of Los Lobos. He had no clue how long he was in his wolf form but it's been a long time, he didn't want to be around other wolf shifters, they didn't want to be around him, he was so crabby, angry all the time. But then you couldn't blame him he was abused, his parents left him stranded took off without him, he had nowhere to go nothing to eat so is Uncle took him in treating him like dirt. And of course there alway someone in a small town to remind him he was not worth anything for anyone, a no good looser. Caitlyn Burrows who is a twin is a shy, red headed, omega She Wolf Shifter who is scared of her own shadow. Her and her family came back to town 6 months ago, they had left a decade ago because of Drew's father, Magnum Tao, who had run into Caitlyn in the woods, raped her and did terrible things, she still has nightmares and scared to go anywhere even though Alpha Drew told her she's safe. I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

    What a read!!

I was given an ARC of "A Mate's Redeeming Touch" from Merryn, in exchange for an honest review. Merryn has done another AMAZING job with her second book 'A Mate's Redeeming Touch', book 44 in the "Black Hills Wolves" series. I'm so happy I was able to ARC for Merryn when I read her debut, then I was offered the chance once again & I jumped at it with grabby hands. I can say that I loved how we got a glimpse of how everyone was doing since 'A Mate's Healing Touch' but more importantly how Caitlyn was going, so I was extremely excited when I read the blurb. We are back in Los Lobos & Catilyn's family is busy fixing up everything in town but it's not until Hannah, Caleb's mate explains something to all her family, that Caitlyn is able to start healing.... Ven has been away from the pack doing his rounds, but his Alpha has a new job for him, making him relocate to the other side of town. So I'm not going to ruin this for you, if your a fan of the "Black Hills Wolves" series, shifters or paranormal genre, grab this book. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down & devoured the words. I can't wait to read what Merryn writes next...

    Another winner

A lone wolf with an big attitude problem is sent to rebuild a business on the outskirts of town. A female victimized by the old alpha returns to town. Chance meeting reveals they are mates and neither is thrilled about it but can they put aside the past in order to build a future together. I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. Another great story from the author in this Black Hills Wolves series by various authors. If you get a chance to start reading this book and the series go for it cause you wont regret it.

Two broken souls united by destiny

Ven is needed by the pack to take over the local petrol station. It's goign to be used as an outpost for the revitalised pack, alerting them to who is entering their land. When he finally comes out of wolf form he realises that he had gone wolf for months. He always preferred being wolf but never had he stayed that way for so long. Caitlyn had caught the salacious attention of the previous alpha and she and her family fled as a result. She is an Omega and will always be vulnerable. It had been the duty of her alpha family to protect her and they all feel immense guilt that they couldn't protect her. BUt when they return to pack land for the mating ceremony of her brother and his new mate, she slowly settles into her new life. But destiny awaits these two lonely, broken wolves. They may think they are not worthy of the other but each may have the missing piece of the others soul. Fabulous series dealing with hard hitting, emotional storylines. Each of our main characters suffered abuse at the hands of someone they should have been able to trust implicitly. They each deal with the pain in their own way and carry the burden of self loathing to a certain extent. I loved the tight knit family Caitlyn has but can also feel why she occasionally feels they are all a bit much!!! Ven is the outward bad boy with a hidden sensitive centre, even through its wrapped in a side of surly! Fab read!!!
