  • A roller coaster ride of a thriller

The second thriller by David Baldacci featuring FBI agent Atlee Pine, who is based in Arizona, finds Atlee and her assistant Carol Blum in Georgia. On their own time they are searching for clues to the disappearance thirty years earlier of Atlee's twin sister Mercy. While in Georgia Atlee and Carol become involved with what appear to be a string of serial killings. Working with police and another FBI agent, they solve the murders. Unfortunately Atlee does not solve the mystery of Mercy's disappearance, but she learns some shocking personal revelations. I anxiously await the third book in this series. A great read.

  • My fav

A compelling story and a warrior princess make for the best Baldacci yet in my books. Atlee Pine is even better in her second novel. A twisty story that keeps the reader ready to turn the next page.

  • Another great read!!!

I really enjoyed reading the second book of the Atlee Pine series. Atlee's involvement in solving a serial murder is captivating but the most intriguing part of the book is her continued investigation of trying to figure out what happened to her twin sister Mercy. Can't wait to read book number three!

  • Enjoyed this novel, suspenseful.

Haven't read a Baldacci novel in a long time. I am glad I decided to read some of his novels again. I enjoyed this novel and now I have the other 2 books to read. It had a surprising ending which I always love.
