  • Lady Trent ruling supreme over my heart

Like Isabella I have had a fascination with dragons from a very young age, so perhaps it is only natural I would find her easy to identify with. This book is a perfect mix of tongue in cheek fantasy and Victorian romance. Wether that romance be between Isabella and Jacob or Isabella and the Vystrani dragons is a good question however. By the end of it I couldn't wait to see what comes next. A most promising start to the series!

  • A natural history of dragons

A promising start to the series. Let's just hope the next books have more dragons!

  • Good Read

A well written book, enjoyable story and a definite change from typical dragon novels. I truly enjoyed the "naturalist" point of view in the story but at the same time I had expected the book to be more about dragons than just have them present. Nonetheless I look forward to the next one!

  • What dragons would really be like!

In A Natural History of Dragons, an aged naturalist tells the tale of the adventures of her childhood and late teens. They are filled with a scientists love of dragons. Love how Brennan handles the relationships of this piece. There’s one moment of understanding between a father and his daughter that made me so happy for the MC. I’m keen to read the next book in the series.

  • finding dragons

Enjoyed the story. Author's writing style was enjoyable even though I found the main character immature but then she is only young. No swearing no sexual stuff. Some violence.
