    Insightful

Lovely blending of facts fleshed out with possible, even probable details, this book offers insights and perspectives that enlighten and engage the reader. I very much looked forward to this book upon reading the sample that followed Orphan Train, which I also loved, and both of which I will probably revisit at some point n the future.

    A Great Read

This is a poignant view of of a woman who lives her life struggling with a debilitating health issue. Does she choose to remain that way or has life not provided her with any reasons to change? The thing she wanted most out of life was just to be seen as the person she was but her stubbornness and fear of being left alone leave others seeing her in a different light.

Based on a true person living in such a beautiful place looking after her family without plumbing or electricity and yet she has a painful condition that makes it impossible for her to walk

    Good story.

It wasn't a page turner for me but I enjoyed it all the same.
