  • Whitney & Jeremy Beat the Odds

t's always interesting in a book series when an antagonist gets a book of her own and finally turns her life around and becomes a good person after all! Not that she was a really bad person in the other books, she just made some bad decisions and it effected some main characters in those books in a bad way! That's what happened to Whitney and in this book, we get her background. We find out how much she wants to change and why she has to come back to the small town she never wanted to see again - her mother has taken ill and is showing signs of dementia. A hard thing to deal with! She has a great job with a lot of travel but she needs to find someone to watch her mother. Then, there is Jeremy, who is her ex-boyfriend's brother who is now working for the company she works for and she'll be working closely with him, including going on international trips with him! Not uncomfortable at all! Although they've known each other for many years, it's different now that they work together. Jeremy wants to be taken seriously for once, instead of the young kid he's always been thought of. This story has many twists and makes you think about how you would handle different situations if you were put into them yourself. I enjoyed the characters and the story. I hope you will too! I'm sorry to see this series end!

    Thanks for your feedback!
