  • Time travel goodness

Katz Amira has a clear mission--travel to the past, steal the note that ruins the world, travel back to the present. This won't be a problem since she;\'s the best pickpocket Time Weavers Inc. has ever had. She'll need to convince Lord John Bryon to let her stay in the warehouse with the orphan boys he protects. It is the perfect place to hide, she'll be able to find out what John does every day and with who. Katz realizes her growing attachment to the boys and John, but she needs to focus on her mission. One of my favorite scenes was towards the end. She's returned from her mission, she's miserable and emotional and when she finally talks to someone about what's going with her, that person has to point out that she's in love. This is a standalone but I would definitely start with the first book in the series, to better understand the reason for the time travel. Thanks so much to Entangled, NetGalley and the author for this ARC to review

  • Impossible to put down & a must read!

“Love is the only reason to be alive. To die with never knowing what it’s like to love and be loved is the cruelest sentence.” Welcome to Time Weavers, Inc. (TWI), where the agents have the power to travel in time to fix ripples caused by the Disruptors. Katz Almira grew up on the streets and is now using her street smarts to be one of the best agents TWI employs…one of the best agents to bend the rules just a wee bit to make sure the job gets done. Her newest mission is to travel back to Regency London and intercept a note that was placed in the wrong hands causing a disruption to the time line in the future. Posing as a fellow pickpocket, Katz befriends a group of lost boys to get in good with their benefactor Lord John Byron. But the one thing Katz didn’t plan on was falling in love with her mark. With the future of the world at stake, Katz must decide if creating a pocket in time is worth saving her love… LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT! Oh, did I mention I LOVED IT! Regency romances are a fav, and add the time travel “Quantum Leap” scenario, and this chick is one happy reader! Katz is as strong a heroine you could ask for that falls for a hero that manages to melt the ice she’s built around her heart. Impossible to put down and one of my fav reads of the year! While this is the second in the Time Weavers, Inc. series, the author has written it to be stand alone. Loved and highly recommend!! Here’s a cheat sheet of the Rules for Time Weavers, Inc., (TWI) Agents: Rule One: Don’t change history; only change it back. Rule Two: Never travel back to a period and place already visited. Rule Three: Travel no more than once a day. Rule Four: Do not hint at anything in the future. Rule Five: Do not make friends. **I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. **

  • Wonderful Read!

Katz Almira was a TWI agent and had lived most of her life on the streets. TWI was for Time Weavers, Inc. They had to be very careful not to disturb the timeline. She had to go back to be sure Lord John "Jack" Bryon took a note to the war office. If she could not do that then the country would cease to exist. She had two weeks to figure out who the Disruptor was and get the note to the war office. Jack was a tall, handsome man, who had fought against Napolean and was wounded. He walked with a limp. He loved England and would do anything for it. He also was a Lord, War Hero, and leader of a prosperous pickpocketing gang. This was a lovely story. The children didn't have parents. He was trying to find homes for them. There was a lot going on, The boys went out to do their thing and he had to go home and she had to leave hopefully, soon with the disruptor. I thought it was well written and I loved the boys being so protective of each other. Giles was supposed to be one of the boys but he beat his girlfriend and then he would disappear. Not a nice guy. The characters are wonderful. The tale was very engaging, also exciting. I highly recommend it for the older crowd. I received this ARC from Net Galley and voluntarily reviewed it.

  • Funny and Poignant

Katz and Jack are a funny and poignant pair In this time travel romance. There are boys that would otherwise not have a home that are pickpockets for Lord John. Jack gives all of his proceeds to charity. This is a great novel with comedy and love. Lexi Post has done a great job with this time travel romance. I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

  • Wonderful addition to a fabulous series!

A Pocket In Time is a fabulous time travel romance by Lexi Post. Ms. Post has produced a well-written book populated with a spectacular cast that makes this book a delight to read. Katz is a time traveler, going to different times to adjust changes made by disrupters and keep history unaltered. Katz travels to 1815 London, England and bonds with a ragtag group (I love Pip!) of pickpockets and Jack, the man that tries to care for them. Katz and Jack's story is packed with drama, humor, spice, action and suspense. I loved every page of this book and look forward to my next book by Lexi Post. A Pocket In Time is book 2 of the Time Weavers, Inc. Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
