    Wine Country Mystery

Set in Penn Yan overlooking Seneca Lake this story will have you ready to pack your bags for a relaxing trip to wine country. But for screenwriter Norrie Ellington it was a trip she did not want to take because it meant overseeing Two Witches winery while her sister and brother-in-law head to Costa Rica for research purposes. Norrie barely gets settled when a body is found on the property and she quickly gets in over her head with a bold and somewhat amateurish plan to trap the suspected killers. This story is a good first in a series book. There are some interesting characters, both human and animal, an interesting setting and it leaves us curious to find out what happens next in the life of Norrie Ellington. Thanks to Kensington books and NetGalley for an ARC of this story in exchange for a honest review.

    Wine Country Mystery

Norrie Ellington is a romance screenwriter and a silent partner in her family’s Two Witches Winery in upstate New York. When her sister’s husband receives a grant to study in Costa Rica for a year, Norrie is guilted into returning home to head up the Winery in their stead. As soon as Norrie ships her sister and brother in law off, a neighbor is murdered and the body is found in the Two Witches vineyard. Norrie suspects the development company that wants to buy up the local wineries is guilty and sets out to get their confession. But Norrie has to mail the murderer before she’s next. The first book in The Wine Trail Mysteries, is off to a solid start.

    Just OK

I really had to force myself to finish this book. Im glad I did cause the last 20 pages were finally exciting. The rest of this book just sort of plods along. It didnt take much to figure who the murderer was
