    An enlightening intellectual journey

Woolf may seem to be wandering early on in this essay, but she has a point to make. My advice is to stick with her and you'll be rewarded. I've never been enthusiastic about feminism in any of its permutations, but neither am I a misogynist. My mind was opened by this essay.

    Very fine Essay

I throughly enjoyed the essay by Virginia Woolf. This work is typically her style. It encourages us to realize that women are more than capable of being an poet and writer.

    People need freedom

I thought this book was very well written and informative. All people need the freedom and means to live their lives properly.

    Prophetic Lecture

A brilliant discourse on the possible enlightenment of both sexes. Complex thought guides her through every twist and turn of her profound and unfolding ideas.

    Captivating essay.

This is the first I have ever read of Virginia Woolf. I found it a fascinating read. I came away learning new things and realizing women have felt inferior for a very long time. I hadn't realized this book is one of the beginnings of the feminist movement.
