    Thanks for your feedback!

    Utterly thrilling.

This book really does do what it says on the tin. Fascinating facts presented in an entertaining and understable way. Many parts of this book blew my mind. More than that though; the interesting little incidental factoids that Bryson drops in really glue all the really big stuff together. Brilliant!

    Informative

An informative book that covers in a non-scientific way a large number of topics, rendering them accessible, interesting and captivating. A brilliant way of grasping the surface of human sciences to find out what truly fascinates us.

If Carling did science books ...

Fantastic book written in Bill Brysons own unique style, filled with facts, information, laugh out loud moments as Bill goes on a journey through science and time. Loved this book and if all school children read this book then they would also be inspired by all things scientific due to the brilliant way the subject is presented. That's not to say it is a school, science or children's book, just that it is filled with fun, love and laughter inspired by the awe of science. If Carling did science books ... Love it and re read it time and time again

    Brilliant

1 of the best books I've read. I only have a very general interest in the world of science but this book puts it in laymans terms...well for the most part.
