  • A must read.

The book reads like a stream of consciousness, as George attempts to negotiate the struggle of life after his partner has been killed. The book was first published in the 60's and yet it remains a worthwhile read, even though the spectre of AIDS had not risen its ugly head and gay rights were still a futuristic dream. But whatever you do, read this book. I waited far too long and the loss would have been something George may have understood.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • The Movie is actually Better!

This is a very important novel written at a time when so many topics included were considered vulgar and illegal. The Tom Ford movie is an excellent representation of this work.
