  • COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN! a must read!!!!

This book makes you laugh, cry, smile, then laugh again. Rachel has taken a short novella format (something I usually don't like because you don't have enough time usually to care about the characters) and made it so beautifully written, laden with imagery, that you keep turning pages, intrigued and excited. I'm so excited for her debut novel and this novella is an awesome introduction into 2 very witty, loveable characters. A must read!!! And by the way, unlike other mysteries, you will have no idea the ending 'til it happens - trust me- and yet it will all make perfect sense. Very memorable!

  • Delightfully Fun Quick Mystery

The only thing I didn't like about this novella was that it was not longer. I got so caught up in this world Rachel has created, and in her vibrant, sparkling characters (especially Jem!) that I didn't want to leave them when I finished reading. I loved learning more about Toronto at the turn of the century also. Looking forward to the next full novel in the Herringford and Watts Mystery Series. Can't wait to spend more time with these characters.

  • A Singular and Whimsical Problem

I loved this novella! It was smart, funny and so enjoyable. I enjoyed following these young ladies on their adventure and cannot wait until Rachel's novel comes out so we can see what they are up to next.
