  • Did not like the book at all

I did not like the book at all and had problems finishing it. After a while I started to detest IA who is a super perfect, super intelligent, super everything (I bet her shit really does not smell) heroine.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • A Soldiers Duty

The premise for this book is wonderfully introduced and developed, and draws the reader in and along with the protagonist, who is likeable and endearing. We want her to succeed, and to save the galaxy. I want to read them all!

  • Good read

Starts out a little slow, but picks up. In the later chapters the whole picture of what Ia is becomes more clear.

  • Jean Johnson is an incredible storyteller. After thoroughly enjoying her Sons of Destiny Series, I was wickedly surprised at her in-depth account of a futuristic soldier and the trials and tribulations she must endure. Ia is an intriguing character as she uses her precognitive skills to "do what she must do" to save the world. Looking forward to Officer's Duty. Enjoy!

  • Book did live up to its build up

I found the book very choppy to read. It did not live up to its build up. I will not be reading anymore in the series
