A very heartfelt story about bravery and coming back from the brink of no return. Unbelievable courage.

Her growing life may have been stolen but her continuous struggle for freedom makes her stronger. A very good read.

    A Stolen Life - A Memoir

A truly gut wrenching story. One of strength and survival, as horrible as it was, it's an amazing testement of courage and rebuilding a shattered life. Truly inspirational! Think of our complaints, after reading this, you will see how petty they are and the importance of having a FAMILY that loves you, cares about you and helps you. Things not to be taken for granted, especially when you are trying to rebuild your life!!!!

    A MUST READ!

When I was younger, I remember watching the Jaycee Lee Dugard videos titled "18 years in captivity" And all i could ever think of was how much I looked up to her as a person, the author of this book is brave, beautiful, as well as a survivor and I strongly reccomend this book, I own the ebook as well as the paperback. I love, love, love, this book

    Jaycee is a miracle

Whew! That was hard to get through. It left me emotionally drained at times, but if she was strong enough to share her story, I needed to be strong enough to read it. I want to cry for her, and I have, but more so I want to give her my utmost respect and tell her what a beautiful and amazing person she is. She deserves every good thing this world has to offer. Her light shines bright, and this world needs Jaycee. Thank you for teaching me what's really important in life.
