    A stone in the sea

I found this book incredibly slow and very predictable. The only thing that wasn't predictable and was very disappointing is that the story continues in a 2nd book. We don't know if Shea & Baz get their happy ending in book 1. I'm not sure if I want to be put through the torture of reading the sequel.

    5 Stars!

As often as I shy away from cliffhangers, I'm really glad I read this I was a slow burning romance with lots of slow burning heartache to go with it. I love Baz and Shea and all the little twists and turns their relationship has undergone. I would like to think I could have figured out the secret mentioned in the blurb and I thought I had, but I was way off. Didn't see it coming from a mile away. I'm totally ready for book two. I will be impatiently waiting.

    Amazing

To say I loved this book is an understatement. I loved Sebastian aka Baz and Shea. Their attraction to each other is off the charts and will leave you panting. Can't wait to read Drowning to Breathe.

    FAMILY

For some reason I couldn't fall completely in love with these characters. I wasn't super feeling their romance. BUT I loved both of them for the way they take care of family. He's so protective of his brother. That hooked me. And I connected with her so much because I was a single mom with a young kid at one time. She's a great mom. I appreciate a story with a excellent mother. That ending really shocked me. It was an on no that did not just happen situation. Now, I need to continue the series to see if the dirtbag gets what he deserves.

    Emotional!

This is a really intense story, there's so much angst throughout its quite an emotional ride. These two characters lives are surrounded by secrets, held to protect others close to them, Sebastian and Shea are kindred spirits, two souls perfect for each other. It's such an emotional story, the main bulk of the book is these two sorting out their feelings for each other, there's a massive amount of internal dialogue going on and i'll be honest at times I was sat thinking please just stop with the emotional turmoil and get on with it! There's a lot of back and forth between the two and it did seem like there was just too many obstacles for them to face to be together. I love how alpha Sebastian was, far too over protective for his own good but his loyalty to his family was second to none. There's nothing he won't do for the people closest to him. Shea was super strong, considering the terrible things her mother put her through. Her love for her daughter shone through at all times and some of my favourite scenes were the two of them together. Love the secondary characters, gave us a glimpse into some future stories. The writing is superb, so descriptive and deeply emotional. Although at times its a bit too angsty for my tastes the writing was never repetitive. The sex scenes were hot, loved the passion raging between these two. The story does end on a cliffhanger so make sure you've downloaded the next story ready to read straight away.
