    Fantastic Historical Romance

A Taste Of Seduction by Mary Campisi is an awesome historical romance. Ms. Campisi has delivered a well-written book furnished with an outstanding cast of characters. Francie loved her life with her aunt and uncle but when she draws unwanted attention from the earl's second son her aunt and uncle decide it's time to take her to her father. Francie's father took Alexander in as a youngster and raised him as a son. Alexander was suspicious when Francie arrived claiming to be Lord Montrose's daughter. Alexander and Francie's story is loaded with drama, humor, action, spice and suspense. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Mary Campisi in the future. A Taste Of Seduction is book 1 of the An Unlikely Husband Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

    Dreadful

Lost me when apparently a possum was responsible for attacking our heroine's dog. In an English woodland. We don't have possums in England. Please make a FAINT effort to research your location and time period.

    Really good!

This is a really, really good book. I was totally engaged in the romance and characters. There is no point in my rewriting the synopsis because you can read that written already. My best advice is read this book!

A bit too all over the place for my liking

Too soppy. The feelings of both main characters are too sloppy and lack conviction. Can only get through a few chapters. Before skipping to the end... Even then no improvement. One thing though the "all over the placeness" is consistent.

    Loved it!!!

It's quite a bit of time since I have read a historical novel set in Colonial Era. The book doesn't literally say it's around that time but since they have Guns and stuff.. I can say it's set around 1500's.. The characters are developed neatly. The author doesn't create a lot of misunderstanding and keep on building it like others.. I hate those types of books. A simple and heart warming romance.
