    Good read.

Interesting story with genuinely good twists. What seems at first to be a simple murder investigation becomes much, much more.

    A Terminal Agenda

Simon Wood, historical researcher at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London went to India for a month, because he had discovered in an old manuscript that would lead to the biggest archaelogical find. He arrived back from India and was murdered. He researched the Mauryan Empire, particularly King Ashoka, who ruled nearly all of India for about 37 years in the 3rd century BC. Ashoka tomb, priceless golden lions from the Mauryan era has been looted . In India, Detective Chief Inspector from London was investigating the murder of Simon Wood and the theft of the golden lions, the Indian national treasure.

    A terminal agenda

A great story, thoroughly enjoyed it. I was sad about his partner. I thought they would have stayed together. Nice about the baby though! Would read more books by this author.

    Brilliant read!!

Full of twists, turns, suspense, romance, deception, murders. Definitely a page turner!! Maintained its pace up till the very end, I’m sad I’ve finished it but on to the next!!

    Terrible

First of all, if a City of London police officer can truly make a decision on his own to travel to India to investigate a crime that took place in London, especially in such an early part of said investigation, not to mention his travelling to France, on more than one occasion, then I need to speak to my MP and then ask Inland Revenue for a tax refund. When I started the book I was captivated, but unfortunately it went downhill chapter by chapter. It seems totally unprepared, disjointed and unresearched. It's a total shambles. By chapter 13 it started becoming unreadable and I decided by chapter 17 - and I really tried to finish it - I had to close it and discard it. I'm sorry, this author has now been removed from my list. At least the author is now holding the record for the shortest time on my list
