    Dragged on Abit Too Long!

I could take or leave this book. I've read other books by this author and enjoyed them more. I found this one went on a bit long. It tells of the author's move to Tuscany with her newly unemployed Italian husband, their move into a hovel, and their integration into the local community, which goes better than can be expected. The descriptions of the cooking and recipes are good additions and the personalities are endearing, but it just seems to drag out too long. It was just okay!

    A Thousand Days ib Tuscany

A combination of cookoing recepies, travel and the tenderness of human life brings this book together to give a good reading experience. Must find more from this author.

Fabulous ! So well written. I could almost taste the food. I would recommend this book to any foodie out there. The story line was great.

    A Delicious Journey

The descriptions of the people and the countryside are just as delicious as the descriptions of the food and the recipes will make your mouth water. A thoroughly enjoyable, and as the title says, bittersweet adventure.
