    Pilot

A breathtakingly beautiful BBB narrative of all that is good and all what is not good about human conflict. I rate this book the best and most credible of those I have purchased to date.

    An excellent Bomber Command book

A thoroughly enjoyable informative and thought provoking book about the author's experiences whilst serving with the RCAF and Bomber Command. A good reminder of how much we owe those airmen and how much they gave so we could live as we do now.

    A Thousand Shall Fall

An excellent book. It is a cliche but if someone is only going to read one book about Bomber Command or Canadians in Bomber Command, this would be the one. Easy to read with a mix of personel recollections and historical facts.

    Beyond excellent

I have read more books that i can remember on the life of Canadians in all branches of the armed forces, including the often forgotten merchant marine during the second world war. Without minimizing all others, this story is by far the BEST. The author actualy had me fealing i was there with him all through his story. Thank you mr. Peden for a most enjoyable 10 hours of fascinating reading
