This is a fascinating look behind the curtain of the Trump whitehouse as seen through the eyes of two reporters from the Washington Post. Reading this book and watching the present responses to Covid- 19 makes this reviewer see things completely different. When this book came out, the interviews piqued my curiosity enough to borrow a type of book I normally "avoid like the plague" because of the partisan nature of them. This was an eye-opening read.

  • House of Horrors

A Very Stable Genius isn’t an easy read, how could it be? Those eager for ad hominem debate and hyperbole should quench their thirst elsewhere, this is journalism, not the comic pages. To the degree that A Very Stable Genius will survive the test of time may largely depend on the accuracy of its own analysis. If Rucker and Leonning are correct in predicting the trajectory of the current administration, truth and principled competence will be rendered moribund and the real genius of rigorous journalism will become a non-sequitur. In this, A Very Stable Genius writes it’s own obituary; a tragedy in the making.

  • Stable genius

Story of a crooked egocentric paranoid president who manipulated the citizens of the USA into supporting his lies and cheating. I feel sorry for those american citizens who have to bear the burden of defending their country and themselves be abused of Trump.

  • No He's Not!

Leonig and Rucker have painstakingly created a thoroughly documented record of the early portion of Trump's presidency, up through the release of the futile Mueller report. The book will stand as a largely unbiased account of this tumultuous period such that future generations may have some insight into the madness of our era.
