    Excellent

A Wedding at Two Love Lane is the second book in Two Love Lane series. While I wasn't a huge fan of the first book in the series, I truly loved this one. Greer and Ford just seemed to click right from the beginning. As love will do it sneaks up on these two even though neither is looking for any kind of relationship. Both have been burned in the past but it seems that what is growing between them is the real deal. Will Greer still accept Ford once she finds out he's not the starving artist she believes him to be?? This book is wonderfully written and I think you will enjoy the story and characters as much as I did. I highly recommend this one.

A Wedding at Two Love Lane by Kieran Kramer

A Wedding at Two Love Lane by Kieran Kramer. A contemporary romance of instant attraction and following an impulse. Fake romance that turns real. 2nd in the matchmaker series and can stand alone. A flirty romance. I liked Greer, the heroine for going after what she wants. Even better, the hero is adorable in supporting Greer on the wedding dress contest. His impulsive proposal to help her for the contest was sweet. A lot of secondary details from the matchmaking agency other owners and clients. The author used a telephone call to describe an event which was unique the first time but seemed contrived the second time. I read an early copy that needed polishing including an abrupt ending. Overall, I enjoyed the connection of the two lovers. “He had a natural presence that made women and men look twice. And she really like him. Him. His personality. His honesty. His humor. The way his eyes lit up when he smiled.” I received a copy of the book via NetGalley.

    What an adventure!

What an adventure! It all started at an auction with a wedding dress. Greer's mother is telling her that she shouldn't have broken up (4years ago) with her boyfriend. Now he is engaged again and Greer isn't. Greer doesn't regret saying no to her ex, but it has caused some problems. Then she sees the magical wedding dress at the auction. Problem is, there is someone else that wants it just because she wants it. When she loses the dress, she meets an Englishman. Ford has followed Greer because he wants to paint her. He doesn't want to get caught up in her fervor for the wedding dress. The problem is, he does get caught up. He was jilted at the alter and is not looking for a new love. There is too much heartache there. But, Greer is different and he can't help but go along with the quest for the dress. Greer is also competing for the dress with her ex and his new fiancée. Ford and Greer live on different continents and she isn't sure that she will be able to keep him. He is fighting love and isn't sure why.

    contemporary romance

A Wedding at Two Love Lane by Kieran Kramer Two Love Lane #2 Greer Jones is a matchmaker but she is also a dreamer. She has been planning the “perfect” wedding with pins and scrapbooks for a long time. When she sees the “perfect” wedding gown she tries to pick it up at auction and fails only to be given another opportunity to win it through a bit of game playing promotion put on by the auction winner of the dress. Wanting to win she shows up with Ford Smith, an artist, and begins to compete. Ford is more than she thinks he is while also being leery of love. The two do finally end up with a HEA BUT there are some twists and turns and hoops to get through before it happens. I had trouble relating to these characters and the idea of “perfect” dress, wedding, man, whatever…matches can be made but relationships take work. I didn’t see what Greer and Ford saw in one another and had trouble understanding their motivations. There were side characters and baddies and goodies and…maybe this book had the feel of a New Adult romance and that is what put me off…not sure. Anyway, I am sure some will love this story and find it a fun filled way to spend some time. It did not appeal to me, though. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC – This is my honest review. 2-3 Stars

    Loved it

A Wedding At Two Love Lane by Kieran Kramer is book Two in the "Two Love Lane" series. This is the story of Greer Jones and Stanford Elliott Wentworth Smythe, the Eighth Baron of Wickshire aka Ford Smith. I have read the previous book but feel this is easily a standalone book. Greer and her friend run a match making/dating agency business. Although Greer was once engaged she never found that spark with him or any other man. But she always had a dream book filled with wedding wishes and stuff. One day at an auction she spies the dream wedding dress and goes into a biding war but looses it. Then she finds out the new owner will be doing a contest for the winner to get the dress. Greer happens to meet Ford who she thinks is a poor fellow and sets in motion a pretend engagement to help set in motion her chances of winning the dress. Ford has just recently gotten out of a bad relationship where the women was just out for his money, has distrust in women now. So when he first meets Greer he thinks she is just another women out to get something and doesn't tell her who he really is. But the more he gets to know her the more he is finding out he was wrong....but how will she take the truth of his true self?
