    Loved it

Loved this fun sexy read! Alice is hilarious and the perfect balance to her too serious crabass boss Lorenzo Baldi. Alice is working as a nanny for Lorenzo's young daughter and she takes that very seriously. Right now though, she has a mountain of other problems. Mainly how to deal with the loan shark threatening her family!! Lorenzo is worried about an art deal he needs to make to protect his name. The last thing he needs is to find his nanny skinny dipping in his pool. But now that he has that image in his brain, blackmailing her into being his pretend fiance seems like the perfect solution. This is one for everyone's must read list. I highly recommend it.

Just buy it, you will not be sorry! Fantastic!

After only on chapter, I knew this was going to be Carmen Falcone's best book ever, and boy, was I ever right! I loved, loved, loved it, and O how I love Alice! Alice Sommers is having the day from hell. She's about to go to her job as a nanny, when she's threatened by the loan shark she needs to pay; it's for her sister's medical bills. What had been $15000 has become $20000, and she doesn't have that kind of money. Her boss Lorenzo Baldi, whom she thought was away, surprises her skinny dipping, but worst, he's with a very important woman. And this woman is of utmost importance in preventing Lorenzo's career from disintegrating. Just by being herself, Alice charms the woman, Lorenzo decides to pass off Alice as his fiancée to secure his deal; but Alice drives a hard bargain: he will give her the $20000 she desperately needs. The premise sounds fun, just wait until you read the book! I absolutely adore Carmen Falcone, and A WEEKEND OF MISBEHAVING confirms everything I love about Ms. Falcone ten times over! Alice is the best heroine ever: she's a plus-size woman, she's confident, she's sexy, and she is honest to a fault. And she talks way too much, to our utter delight. This book has the best dialogues ever: snappy, funny, clever. Alice is a force of nature, and Lorenzo is completely overwhelmed. And so is the reader! Ms. Falcone's writing is young, spirited, colourful, snappy; the pace of the book, relentless, and the characters magnificent. But better yet, this is the strongest story the author has ever written; with each book, she gets better: more creative, she can turn the most obvious plot into a work of genius and make it look like no one has ever thought of that trope before. And Alice, O Alice! She is an inspiration for women everywhere: she is so real, I feel she is my friend, I would want her to be my friend. Do yourself a favour, and grab this book as soon as you can, because A WEEKEND OF MISBEHAVING is stupendous, amazing, funny, sexy, clever, wonderful... I could go on forever! WOW! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and not a word would change if I had paid for it. Absolutely fantastic!

    Light and steamy

Favorite Quotes: “Who knew the janitor was a gossip? If she had, she could have engaged in some interesting conversations with him about the lady from 34A who spent lots of quality time with the chiseled pool boy. And Mrs. Trevor didn’t even own a pool.” “I was going to tell you, but then you were all horny like a man who was just released from prison. I lost my train of thought… Hey, I’m only human.” “No amount of daytime soap opera reruns could ever have prepared Alice for this.” “Love? If a UFC champion had punched him in the gut, he doubted he’d experience the same defenselessness.” My Review: A Weekend of Misbehaving is a fast-paced, fun, and light read that provided an entertaining afternoon. The story moved quickly - before the end of the first chapter, the main character was blind-sided by a loan shark, caught skinny-dipping by her boss in his private pool, faked a serious relationship with said handsome rich boss in front of his client, finagled a luxurious Italian vacation, and committed blackmail. All before I had barely begun to sip my Diet Dew! While the story was fast moving and active, it was well paced and easy to follow. I enjoyed the comfortable writing style with hits of humor, as well as the steamy love scenes and likable characters.

    Sweet and quick!

Aaah, this story turned out to be so sweet! And honestly, how can you not love that, right? I admit, the beginning was a bit rough for Alice and I had a few moments, where I thought will I even like the story, if the plot consists of her constantly dealing wit this awful man. But I should have know better. Alice has a mean loan shark after her, who won't care to cross a few lines to get his money back. And the worst part is that she wasn't the one who borrowed the money in the first place! You see, her sister is bipolar and when she had her episode (I hope I don't offend someone with this term) she took a lot of money that she could never pay back. Thankfully, one thing lead to another and Lorenzo made her 'a deal' (more of a blackmail, if we are honest) she couldn't refuse. Being in a fake relationship isn't as easy as they thought. No, not at all, since all they really want is to just rip off the clothes from each other. And after awhile they simply cannot help but give in to their attraction. I'm so happy we didn't have to wait an eternity for that to happen. It's safe to say that we get our fill of sexy times. ;) But what started out as a charade, quickly turned into more. Much more. Both start to feel intense emotions that had nothing to do with lust, emotions neither of them should have. After a bad marriage, Lorenzo wants nothing to do with that kind of emotional disappointment and Alice has already way too much on her plate to allow herself to fall for Lorenzo. Add to that their blown cover and things started to get a bit more awkward. Their relationship had ups and downs and both made mistakes. At the end it all worked out the way it should and I was happy for Alice to finally break free from her father's last promise and for Lorenzo to find his happiness again. Also, Lorenzo's daughter is super cute and will win over your heart in no time. A Weekend of Misbehaving is a great read that will not disappoint you. Safety-gang: Safe.

Can life's beginnings, keep away happiness

This latest book, by Author Carmen Falcone, was a magnificent blend of growing love and passion and the strength and weakness of family. Both can cause happiness and anguish when not seen in its true form. In the opinion of this reader, this story is by far the best of all the authors books. It has her trademark of strong sensual characters and humor in surprisingly unexpected places and wonderful twist and turns. But it also shows how ones upbringing, be it viewed right or wrong, can strongly influence the choices we make in life. The ending gave this reader a terrific sense of joy, and great satisfaction in the manner the writer got us there. To say I loved this story is just somehow not saying enough. I'm thinking, how good will her next story be as her writing continues that constant uphill battle to write something even better than the last.
