    Excellent

I found the book well written, brave and candid. Politicians should learn how their decisions to go to war affect common people and refrain doing so too readily.

    A Woman in Berlin

Berlin April, May and June 1945. A young woman recounts what life is like when the Russian army takes over command of the city. Very interesting history.

    Compelling and powerful

I found the book very compelling. It was a real life account of the mistreatment of German citizen by Russians during the end of the European war. It was horrifying tale and presented the power and strength of those determined to survive.
