    Thanks for your feedback!

    Delicious!

Love this book! Like Camilleri, Mayle's writing inevitably leads one to eat good food and drink good wine.

    This book made me hungry!

Told by month, the trails and tribulations of moving to a new country, learning a new language and enjoying the culture of good food and wine

    I would not recommend.

I found this to be a boring tale of a married couple who moved from the United States looking for a beautiful farmhouse in Provence, France. They find the house of their dreams and the entire book is a month-by-month account of their daily lives. They spend most of their time renovation their new home, talking to the country folk and complaining about how long the renovations are taking to complete.*Yawn*
