    Thanks for your feedback!

    Captain, is she your mate?

“She can’t be,” “Can she?” LIONS AND MADMEN AND MATES, OH MY!! WOW! I ABSO-FURRY-LUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!! Mandy has once again worked her magic to create one helluva of an adventure that CATIVATED me from the very start! I would be LION if I didn't say that out of this entire Immortal Ops World, I love this team/group of Operatives the most!! I have loved Corbin since I first met him and am thrilled that he FINALLY gets to be the MANE attraction!! And WOW!! What a GRRRREAT & PAWFECT story it is!! Act of Command is truly LIONTACULAR! In fact, this is my FANGORITE one to date! I know I say that after every book I read of Mandy's, but it doesn't make it any less true! In fact, with every Immortal Ops book that Mandy writes & releases, it adds even more depth and richness to the series as a whole, which in turn reflects directly back to the book. Add in getting to visit with everyone again, and you can't help but love it! As with the others, this book is overflowing with everything that makes it so SHIFTASTIC!! The part I love the most about shifter books is when the animal side gets its own personality, or in this case its own LIONALITY! I love the antics of the Lion, and the "grief" he causes Corbin! It adds richness as well as upping the entertainment factor!! The Corporation rears its ugly, evil head once again, this time kidnapping Mae. But there is no CLAWS for concern, it isn't all bad guys, rage, heartbreak, evil going ons or doom & gloom! The humor from the jokes & teasing to the irony, one-liners, situations and everything in between is.. well... FRACKEN HILARIOUS!! I couldn't help but ROAR with laughter numerous times while on this adventure! Add in friends, mothers, mates, double agents, heartache, hot & heavy carnal activities, and more, and you get one PARANOMENAL book you won't be able to put down!! Right from the cover I am intrigued and eager to read the story, knowing that I am going to love it simply because it says "by Mandy M. Roth" on it. I have read at least half of her published works and have loved each and every single one, regardless the genre, length (of the story people! wink) or cast of characters & their species. Mandy truly is an elite author and this book is one more PRIDE example of just why that is!

Act of Command by Mandy Roth

Title: Act of Command Series:  PSI-Ops / Immortal Ops   Destination: Book Four of Four Author: Mandy Roth Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Genre: #Paranormal #LionShifter My Score: 5 Stars  ☆☆☆☆☆ ♡■□●○•°♡■□●○•°♡■□●○•°♡■□●○•°□■♡ This is just another phenomenal book forth of the four book series. Again Ms. Roth pulled it off as she always does, each page is a testimony to her expertise as a writer. Yes, I do recommend this 351 page Must Read Book, believe me you can't put it down, you just fly through the pages.  Mae Bertelot, mother's friend wants her son to go on a blind date and Mae's mother wants her to go too. What a waste of time neither wants to go on a blind date. Waiting for over a hour Mae is so mad at the douchbag she doesn't see the men who kidnap and drug her. Going in and out, never staying awake for a long period of time, she tries to figure out where is she. Captain Corbin Jones is a Lion Shifter and head of his Paranormal Agency. Corbin is used to being in command of his men. But today he is meeting a University Student as a blind date his mother set up. While walking to meet Mae his smells and see's a work of Art with two legs. Having to leave before he sees her, he takes on a mission. Two weeks later he finds out that he was kidnapped and they are trained to pinpoint where she is. The more he looks at her picture he realized who she is to him he has to find her NOW !! There Will Be Blood! Without a doubt you need to read this book it is fantastic I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

Awesome story with lots of action and adventure.

Captain Corbin Jones heads his own PSI Ops team and is always in control, that is until he scents his mate while heading to a blind date. He has no Idea that the woman he scented and seen is his blind date that he has to stand up because duty calls. But canceling that date just might be the biggest mistake he has ever made. While waiting for her blind date, Mae Bertelot gets captured by a madman wanting to breed supernatural’s. But fate is fickle and won’t be denied, but at what cost? Great story that may be part of a series and yet is still a self-contained story. Well written with lots of action and adventure along with a love story that’s very entertaining to read. I highly recommend this book.

Corbin really should have listened to his mother.

Refusing to listen to his lion nearly cost Corbin his true mate. Losing control when he found her saved his life. I loved it. Mandy Roth is one of my favourite authors and I've been reading her books for more than a decade. I've loved all of them, she never disappoints and she always makes me laugh. I especially love all of the connected series' in her Immortal Ops World and I always seem to be waiting, keen and eager, for the next one to come out. In this case, 'the next one' is the full-length 'Act of Command', the fourth book in the terrific PSI-Ops series (Paranormal Security and Intelligence Agency Special Operations) and I was over the moon when I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. I was totally hooked by this action packed paranormal romance from beginning to end and I really didn't want to put it down. I absolutely loved it. If you haven't read any of the Immortal Ops World books, please don't worry. All of the books can easily be read as stand alones and there's a really useful Series Helper at the start of the book which tells you who's who. I found it invaluable... and I've read all the books. Were-lion and happy bachelor Captain Corbin Jones heads up a PSI Ops team, loves his job catching bad guys and spends time every decade or so trying to avoid his mother's matchmaking attempts, this time with the student daughter of a friend. They never work out well but here he is again, flowers in hand, on his way to yet another blind date disaster. He's desperately trying to find a way out of it when he sees two women walking across the campus and is powerfully drawn to the one in the yellow dress. His lion is a happy camper but then his phone rings with instructions to return to base immediately for an urgent mission. Now his human is happy too, he has a legitimate excuse to leave before the date, and takes no notice of his angry lion as it has a fit about leaving their mate behind. Something he comes to bitterly regret two weeks later when intelligence uncovers another trafficking ring on their doorstep and the next woman to be auctioned off is wearing the tattered remains of a yellow dress... Feeling depressed about being stood up by the blind date she'd actually dressed up for, Mae Bertelot really wasn't expecting to be kidnapped on her way home. She kept hoping it was some kind of nightmare and she'd wake up soon, but no, it actually happened. Two weeks ago. Beaten, drugged and nearly raped, Mae has absolutely no idea what's going on, but she does know, deep in her soul, that someone is coming to rescue her. She just has to hold on... It's really hard trying to decide what to write about this story without giving spoilers. Well written, as always, in the third person there's absolutely no dead space in this paranormal romance. It's packed from beginning to end with action and plot as the good guys track down the bad guys. It has everything you could possibly want including fighting, bullets flying, kissing, steamy bits, several different sets of bad guys, the shapeshifting good guys, fantastic characters and the introduction of a new set of good guys with Shadow Agent Ops, lots of humour with some serious and ultimately life saving steam as the story builds to an explosive climax and the happily ever after we all expect. Like all of Mandy's books, it can be read as a stand alone, there are no cliff-hangers here, and Mandy packs so much information into her stories that you never feel like you've missed out on anything by not having read the earlier books, but if you haven't read them, you're missing out on some terrifically good stories. I only give 5 stars to the books I'd rescue if the house was burning down, and this is definitely another one of those. Thank crunchie for eReaders.

    Act of Command

Another winner, but then they always are from Mandy Roth. We get to revisit a fun bunch of paranormal guys with locker room humor, complete loyalty, and the evil paranormals and scientists worst enemies. Corbin leads this group of unruly guys. As scary as these super guys are, they are all totally submissive to his Alpha mom and she wants grandchildren. Back again setting him up with another candidate he'd do anything to get out of the blind date. Always impeccably dressed, groomed and in control, at least until he is on his way to the obligatory date he sees (and scents) a woman who climbs into his mind. However, he gets called to an assignment and never gets to the date or to the woman. Mae is just as reluctant to meet him. And when the date falls through … well you'll have to read about that. She can't control her power and is not a dater. She lives vicariously through her best friend who is a dater and how. Quiet beauty, studious and not ready for a man. Corbin discovers one of the women he is assigned to rescue from paranormal trafficking is the woman he stood up. Now guilt is added to his already mix of emotions. There is plenty of paranormal action, team antics, steam, and new characters you will love. By the way, if you can guess what Corbin's lady calls the randy Striker before it is revealed, you can put my pic on wall of shame for this week. The strongest of recommendations for this one. I was provided and ARC for an honest review.
