  • Intriging

Plot was great, twists are fantastic and as always Johnathan & Boxers are a terrific pair. I love the retoric between them. Venice is a wonder. I didn't want to put it down.

  • Against all enemies

Another good read about “Scorpian and Boxers. The book is not only exciting but also quite amusing when the two “agents” interact with each other

  • Great read

Great story that is very credible, I had a very hard time in putting it down. First book that I have read from this author and it won’t be the last

  • Skip this one

This was my least favorite of Gilstrap's series. Too much useless murder, without conscience.

  • Not the author’s best.

The plot is predictable, the dialogue is weak and the novel lacks the sense of authenticity of his earlier novels in the series. ( which I enjoyed)It seems a kind of dispirited variation on his theme of the noble band of warriors versus evil doers. I struggled to finish this one. It strained my credulity.
