You will never find another book like this one.

You will never find another book like this one. So special, filled with kindness, warmth, and wisdom, “All About Cats” by Tygo Lee is a great and fascinating read for everyone! In his excellent work, the author endeavors to communicate the idea that cats are lovely creatures with the same emotions, feelings and character traits as humans and their inter-species union at its very best can be life-changing! I am a cat lover, indeed, but even if you are not, or you have not decided yet, you will be mesmerized by the first-person narration of Freddy the Cat and will find lots of useful, truly thought-provoking, interesting and funny matters on the pages of this bright and unique book. The language of the book is so descriptive and contrastive, with exceptional lexical cohesion, full of vivid comparisons yet very clear and image-evoking! Cat’s history, their food preferences and attitudes, and so many other things are waiting for you! The author put his heart into his creation! I loved every single chapter of the book, but there were some moments, which really brought me such great joy and a whole range of different emotions. I adored “In Bast we trust” with its absorbing and funny at times view on cat’s history and the description of the fantastic annual festival in the city of Bubastis, “Turtle Cats” and Freddie’s profuse talk on what will happen to him when he gets old and bald and “When Death Do Us Part”, pretty sad but wise and touching. This book is a real treasure for all the lovers of furry little purring balls, and it definitely should not be missed. It is so inspiring and completely amazing, leaving happy, warm memories as an aftertaste!

    Paw-licking delicious!

All About Cats by Tygo Lee is literally one of the wittiest books I've read in a real long time. Freddy is a fantastic narrator and his stories are packed with humor that are guaranteed to make you chuckle throughout. These tales cover absolutely everything about cats. I found the history related stories of the book a little extra interesting and informative because to be honest, I did not really know about the history of domestic cats. Also, Freddy did actually get me thinking about naming babies and now I've this sudden urge to name my baby girl due in July 'Habbibah' (meaning: beloved). I'm pretty sure my husband would go bonkers over this so I'll probably settle with Habbibah being the nickname. Freddy's (or if I should say Tygo's) story telling skills are praise worthy because you learn so much about these wonderful creatures without even realizing. Just like most cats he loves fish and is proud of his furry coat (I bet that's what most cats talk about anyway). If you've ever lived with cats, you'd relate to most of the stories on a spiritual level. The bathroom etiquette chapter was a little too adorable and funny. All in all, I'd recommend this book to absolutely anybody (even if you're not a cat owner) who appreciates subtle, witty humor. Freddy the cat will become your favorite.

    For all cat lovers…

This book is a must have for all cat lovers and owners. Even when you are thinking of buying a cat? This is a book that should be bought first. The book opens the eye of the reader to the dos and don’ts to handling cats. The amazing thing about this book is that the narrator is a cat. This makes the book really interesting and relatable. The interaction between Freddie the cat and the reader make the book comprehensible. There are incredible short entertaining stories that have lessons in it for readers to learn. In addition, care of cats is handled so that one can know how best they can handle their cats. Cat habits are also handled. If you have a cat and you thought you were doing an exemplary job I suggest that you read this book first. I am sure you will have a handful to learn from.
