    A SANDALONE CLASSIC!

i loved it. maybe it deserves a reread in the future. it is a sci-fi/fantasy epic that can be enjoyed by both young adults and mature readers alike. after finishing this book, i can see some parallels this book has on some classics like 'Neuromancer' and 'Childhoods End'; and i like it. i know some readers may puke at the epicness of this book and others like it which blends magic and science but the real charm of this particular gem is the simple voice and truthful journey. hope you try it (in ebook or physical tome); thanks!

The title describes what runs through the book

This book was at times interesting, but mostly confusing. It went back and forth and the plot often got lost. The ending left a lot to be desired. They keep referring to all these birds and some magical tree, but it's really muddled. Kind of star crossed lovers or something. Just never hit the mark.

    A chaotic love

This is a lovely chaotic love story masquerading as an apocalyptic view of world ending philosophies getting ready to duke it out. If you get stuck wading through some of the morass just keep going. It is ultimately a satisfying read.
