  • Exciting mysteries abound in Aloha Lagoon

I highly recommend these entertaining mysteries. I really enjoyed Beachboy Murder. I am thinking this may be the best story in Aloha Lagoon! It works perfectly as a standalone, but I really enjoyed finding out that Detective Ray may have a heart. One of the minor characters gets a chance to be a hero. Gabby and Rick's love story progresses nicely. Of course there is a murder to solve. There were several twists before everything was sorted out. I read it straight through. Handbags & Homicide is a very entertaining mystery. With designer bags, sport figures, a cheating ex-husband accompanied by his current and former girlfriends, a best friend rushing her wedding and murder, there is plenty to keep your interest. This was a great mystery - lots of plot twists, plenty of suspects. The action and drama in Aloha Lagoon continues in Tiaras and Terror. Harmony asks for Kaley's help to solve the murder. Kaley is distracted because her boyfriend Noa has been seen around town in the cozy company of a red haired woman. With possible boyfriend issues and way too many suspects who will not mourn the victim's demise, can Kaley find the murderer before she herself becomes a victim? Photo Finished is an excellent mystery - captivating characters, murder, too many suspects and lots of plot twists. I love revisiting characters from previous stories set in Aloha Lagoon although each book stands alone. This mystery grabbed my interest in chapter one and I was sorry to reach the end! In Fatal Break Sam is once again looking for a killer. This time Sam's BFF Alani is suspected of having murdered her ex-boyfriend. Since the police are focused on Alani, Sam feels obligated to track down the real murderer. This is a fast paced mystery with plenty of odd characters, too many suspects and more than one motive. Will Sam be able to save Alani or will the killer get Sam first?
