    Pages Flew As Hearts Committed!

The second book in Anna Harrington’s Secret Life of Scoundrels series, Along Came a Rogue establishes this author as a writer to follow! Smooth writing and interesting characters resulted in a notable work. With lots of action and a strong, heated over all attraction between the hero and heroine pages flew as hearts committed. Ms. Harrington’s capacity to create stories with true sentiment mark her as someone with a long and successful career ahead of her. *I received this ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.* *While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone.*

Hot sex scenes, developed characters, great book!

You know the sex scenes are going to be steamy and plentiful when the book opens with oral sex being performed in a public setting. And that’s just the beginning! So many hot scenes, especially the one in the carriage. But if you’re looking for more than just super hot sex scenes, this book also had a great story and well developed characters, along with a mystery that plays throughout the book. And I really enjoyed that Anna Harrington didn’t play much into the trope of: I love him, but I can’t let him know. There is a little bit of that later on in the book, but for the most part, Nathaniel and Emily are very attracted to each other, and they just go for it. Harrington’s descriptions of the architecture, landscape, and fashion of the times was wonderful to read. The details she describes are titillating, and made me want to be alive during that era. This is the first book of Harrington’s that I’ve read, and I see many more in my future. Although this is the second book in The Secret Life of Scoundrels series, I don’t think you need to read them in order.

Fun Read, Lots of Sexual Tension and Action

I loved this book. It was the perfect follow up to Dukes are Forever. Grey and Emily have not only great chemistry but a sweet love--he's so tender with her, and she's loved him since she was a girl. The action stems from a secret Emily is keeping from Grey and her family, one that puts her life in danger, but the action never overshadows the romance. I think I'm in love with Grey!!
