    Chasing Amber

Amber is a new installment in the Dane and Bones Origins series, a series explaining their background in the Navy SEALS. The book is written by David Wood and Rick Chesler. Dane, Bones, Willis, and Professor are sent on a mission to locate the famous Amber room. The book starts with a training exercise that is actually a test to decide who to send on the mission. This adventure takes the crew diving, rock climbing, and caving. Close on their heels, sometimes even ahead of them, are the Russians and the Germans, also looking for the Amber room. The guys also run into a terrifying creature that was engineered by the Nazis. Do they find the Amber room? You’ll have to read it to find out. Amber is a novella, a quick read with the adventure and humor that have come to be expected from the series. The Origins series keep the stories relatively lightweight and easy to read. Bones, Willis and Professor, keep the humor coming throughout the trials they run into in their quest. I love the Dane and Bones books, both the Origins series and the Dane Maddock Adventures series. This book is great for young adults as well as adults who enjoy historical mysteries, treasure hunting, military action, and adventure. Pick up your copy today, you won’t be disappointed.
