  • Good beginning to new series

I loved the premise of the story. The Alpha male werewolf falls for a human woman. This is a prequel. It is very fast moving. I felt that the author is trying to get us ready for the first full length novel. The couple meets and falls in love very quickly. I enjoyed the romance aspect of this book. The only thing I didn't care for was the main character Melanie was a little whiny. I'm hoping that for book 1 the lady lead is a much stronger character.

  • Awesome!

This was is a great start in this series! Kade walks into the Hilton Resort for his blind date..his wolf sits up and takes notice of a honey vanilla smell of his..Mate!! Kate's wolf just wants to follow the smell but he meets Melanie instead. Luckily for Kade, Melanie is the source of the smell and Kade be happier but when he tells her that he's a werewolf she splits! When Melanie meets Lance by accident it causes a major problem between the three of them and only Melanie can fix this problem but can she?

  • Enjoyable!

An Alpha's Path is Book 1 in the Redwood Pack series by Carrie Ann Ryan. It was a great lead off to the series showcasing how Kade and Melanie met and became mated. It was very short so there wasn't a lot of room for character development or a more in depth plot. Overall, I did enjoy it immensely and look forward to reading more of this series.

  • An Alpha's Path

An Alpha's Path, Redwood Pack Book 0.5 can be read as a standalone or as the beginning of the Redwood Pack series. An Alpha's Path is a paranormal romance that is told in the first-person point of view of Kade and Melanie. Melanie is a scientist that has just finished her thesis and is in between jobs. Her best friend Larissa believes that it’s time Melanie gets out and has a life so she sets her up on a blind date that will change her world and life forever. Kade is the Heir of the Redwood Pack and the Alpha in training. His brother Jasper thinks that Kade needs to let loose for a night. When Kade catches Melanie’s scent he knows she is his mate. Now he has to try and convince this human he is not crazy and that they are meant to be together. I enjoyed my first book by Carrie Ann Ryan and I am looking forward to more of the Redwood Pack and more Carrie Ann Ryan novels.

  • Love the book!

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! This was a great read! I love the storytelling. The interaction between Melanie + Kade was so cute + sexy at the same time. They were attracted to each other. I would recommend this book. HEA ending!
