A fun & sexy addition to this series

I think I've read every one of Kylie Gilmore's books, and each new one becomes my favorite of hers. This one is no exception. Financial planners Luke and Kennedy are competing for the same account. Kennedy is desperate for the job because she needs the money to save her family who is in dire financial straits. Luke must get this account or he will be downsized at his firm. As they compete for the job, they end up pretending they are engaged, which creates all sort of problems (sexy and fun ones, of course) for the couple. This is a sweet, sexy and very romantic story. You'll love it.

    Kylie's done it again!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. It's hard to write a review for this fantastic book without giving away spoilers, so here goes... WOW! I didn't expect the rush of emotions to hit me so hard when I read this book. One moment I was cackling, then roaring with tears in my eyes I laughed so hard. Then just as quick, the tears changed to ones of pure emotion. Luke Reynolds is a wonderful character. Even with his over-confidence, his tough, arrogant exterior is broken down by one Feisty Ken Ward. A woman, who's tough herself, cracks under Luke's persistence and she shows her vulnerable side. She cares for her family so much that she puts her own life on hold for them. Making sure that they have everything they need before she allows herself any room to breathe. The two characters are a perfect match, and when they come together it's with fiery, explosive passion. This is one book you seriously do not want to miss. Definitely recommend!!!

Another amazing book in the series!

Another amazing book in the series! I must say, the circumstances under which Luke and Kennedy met were rather unusual. I couldn't believe it! The uniqueness of it was so refreshing, and it set the tone for the whole book and had me hooked. In typical Kylie-fashion, the story flowed so smoothly and had a perfect mix of humor and emotion. Oh, and the love scenes were SMOKING HOT. I liked how I got to catch up on characters from previous books in the series (though each book is a stand-alone and can be read, in my opinion, in any order). All in all, the story was great, as expected, and I can't wait to read the next book in the series!!! ***I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***

Fake it until you make it

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is book eight of the Clover Park series with Luke and Kennedy. Luke is a financial planner and must land a big client to not be cut during his company's upcoming downsize. He finally get s meeting with the eccentric billionaire and his competitor, Kennedy, at the golf course. Kennedy needs this client, her first, to prove she can be more than an assistant. Not only that, she needs the money to help support her family. As the eldest, she needs to help with her father's medical bills and the needs of her younger siblings. Kennedy confirms to the client, not only are they a couple but they are engaged. Only one of them will be chosen as his financial planner. Both Luke and Kennedy have strong personalities. Kennedy's fake-fiance game goes too far and the stage is set for disaster. She is kind and you cannot help but feel for her and her family's predicament. Luke has depth but likes to hide behind his money slick facade. A great story to fake it until you make it!

    Delightfully Playful

Ladies-man Luke Reynolds meets his match with feisty young Kennedy. Although inexperienced in the field of investments, Kennedy is so motivated by her present circumstances that she conjures up a blatant lie to win a client. The lie not only shocks the hell out of Luke, but entangles him fully. Too shocked, and somewhat smitten, Luke doesn’t call her out in front of a potential client. No, he decides to go along with Kennedy’s fake engagement plan, knowing that in the end he’ll win their competition for the billionaire client and have fun bossing Kennedy around the billionaire’s guest bedroom in the process. Great banter between the hero and heroine had me smiling throughout the book. Another winner in this very fun series of Clover Park books. (My favorite being Not My Romeo. You don’t want to miss that one either.) Highly recommend.
