    Odd book

A weird little book about Blackpool, I really don't know what to make of it. A strange little tale but with some kind of truth in it.

An entertaining read but mostly for young men.

This is one of the entertaining oddities that the wonderful world of self publishing sometimes throws up. I only read it because I live in Blackpool, it's not the sort of thing I would usually read. It's definitely not intended for women readers, and I see enough of the kind of repellent behaviour by young men described in it in real life without wanting to read about it for pleasure. The author obviously knows Blackpool well, although I think as a visitor not a resident. It's written in a lively and very readable style. Pity he didn't fix the numerous typos. The cover image is stunning.
