    Lively and Intriguing

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The writing was good and lively and the characters keep things interesting. There was some repetition at the beginning that might have been more difficult to read but it went away as you went through the book. L. Grubb spent a lot of time setting up the story and allowing the reader to get to know the characters. It was good to get to know the characters and their past a bit better. Alexis certainly wasn't what you thought of when you thought of an Old Lady but that kept things interesting. After the first few chapters, An Honest Mistake seemed to move along quickly. And it was certainly HAWT. Just for those readers that are interested in knowing about these things. The banter between characters was amusing. At first it seemed like things were a little too easy but that illusion is quickly shattered. An Honest Mistake was a good read, one that I'd like to reread sometime in the future. Great Debut Book

I was really excited when I heard Lucii was writing a book and even more when I found out it was an MC read. This is a fantastic debut book from Lucii, she has a storyline that flows beautifully and you can read continuously without any confusion. We meet Alexis who I feel is a strong character, she knows exactly where her life is heading, and also has a best friend who she treats more like a sister. Lauren is full of life and really takes no shit from anyone, she loves Alexis fiercely. The two of them together are a fantastic set of characters and there can be many laughs that come from both of them. Cobra is a hot alpha male who is loyal to his MC and brothers. I feel that he doesn't care for life, and is as cold as ice, that is until he meets Alexis. There is something about her that he cannot forget, as much as he tries. He is normally a wham bam thank you man. But with Alexis this changes as he cannot seem to get enough. What Cobra has to be mindful of though is does he want to bring Alexis into his dark world, she is pure and good, he is dark and cold. A fantastic read from Lucii and this book does have a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more and anxiously waiting for book 2.. ****Free Copy received via Obsessed by Books*******

    good read

It's a good book, good story line, decent characters. However the editing leaves a lot to be desired. There are grammar mistakes all over the place, and I find that sort of thing very bothersome when I'm reading. A few mistakes I can get over but there are so many!!!! Not likely to read the next one honestly.
