    A fantastic, real-life romance!

This light romance centres around co-workers, Adam and Olivia, who find themselves travelling together for work. There are many hiccups along the way, including travel issues (aka Planes, Trains and Automobiles), weather, and sexual tension. Susannah Nix has a way of creating endearing characters worth rooting for. Both Adam and Olivia have depth and nuances not always seen in a fun, romantic comedy. The story moves smoothly, without any uncomfortable or lagging plot lines. I absolutely loved it and will keep this in the re-read pile.

Wow. I laughed. I cried. I laughed while crying

Wow. I laughed. I cried. I laughed while crying and cried while laughing. As you might have already guessed, I found this story to be a bit of an emotional roller-coaster. I love Olivia, just like I’ve loved every one of the heroines in this series. I can so easily relate to these geeky, socially awkward nerd-girls. They are totally my people. It was really, really easy to dislike Adam at first. I was Team Olivia all the way, so I was one hundred percent behind her desire to inflict bodily harm on him. I loved watching him open up to Olivia, becoming more real, more human. I both love and hate that we don’t get the chance to live in our hero’s head. I crave knowing what’s going through Adam’s thoughts, but I don’t think it would be quite the same story if we weren’t experiencing Olivia’s angst at not knowing what’s going to happen next. And speaking of “what happens next?”, I can’t wait to see who the next couple to fall will be. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

Each book gets better and better!!

I love this entire series! With book 4, we get to know more about Olivia. She’s strong, smart, crafty, and a fellow nerd among the fandom. I totally relate to her quirkiness. Her crush Adam is utterly adorable in the “he-doesn’t-even-know-how-cute-he-really-is” sort of way. I was so sad that he was so miserable for so long. Their slow burn attraction was hott in all the right ways. But what made it even more amazing is that I read it while on a road trip to the Houston area!!! Talk about being immersed in a great book! I about died when Adam entered the sacred Bu-cee’s and Whataburger!!! Unless you’ve been to Texas or live here, you can’t truly appreciate either of those experiences! It truly is an experience to be had!!

    I see you *swoon*

I absolutely love the Chemistry Lessons series by Susannah Nix! Every book is spectacular. I love how witty and smart her heroines are. Olivia may her quirks, but she owns them and is resilient. Adam puts on this front of, well, a stubborn, arrogant a$$, but underneath that, he has is own heartbreak and is just trying to protect himself from it happening again. In doing so, he has basically cut himself off from everything and everyone. When they are forced to work on a job together, it seems everything is against them arriving to their destination. During all the delays, they begin to see each other in a new light. The walls begin to crumble, and they truly see each other. I loved the banter, the wit, the deep conversations. The way they start to develop their relationship and open up to each other was beautiful. Susannah Nix has a true gift of bringing her characters to life and making them relatable and personable. They turn into more than just characters in a book, but people you want to know. This is a series you do not want to miss!

    My new book boyfriend

Imagine that we could go back to the garden of Eden and start over with a new Adam and this hero would be the perfect man for the job. Maybe that’s not very realistic, so I urge the mother’s of the world to make a pact to raise men like this. I love the way this author combines strong and highly intelligent heroines, males with flaws and hot steamy chemistry. The trip from hell is a perfect setting to get to know what they are made of and the amount of chemistry is off the charts. I enjoy the banter and the book is fast paced. Beneath the surface there might even be a few life lessons to learn. Don’t even hesitate for a minute, get your one-click finger ready and have a blast.
