    An Eastern Fanatasy

I received a free electronic copy of this book from the author to review. This book has a real Indian feel to it. And I mean the country of India in Asia. The name of the characters and the settings made me believe that this is where the story was taking place. But as I read, I realized it was on a world different than our own. Different creatures and people were part of the story. Then we encountered people who had powers that were not normal. The main character was developed well enough to keep the action going. This was more of an action driven plot. The main character's uncle, who did play a big part in the plot, had his character change through the story from a simple merchant to a real enigma. This book was slow in developing the story to where we knew that it was a fantasy story. I realize that there will be other books in this storyline, but it seemed to me to develop slowly. I enjoyed the book. I look forward to the sequel.
