    Thanks for your feedback!

One of the Classics of military sci-fi

The sudden point-of-view change mid-story may jar you but if you give it a chance you will be met by a wonderfully, poignant tale that is beautiful. One of my favs of all-time.

    Armor

Loved this book as a young person, still love it now. Read it and ask for yourself "are you there Felix?"

    Decent, nothing special

Nothing special. The story felt like it wanted to go somewhere, but never really did. Essentially, plenty of interesting characters and motivations were introduced, and then the book ended.

    Terrible, don't waste your money

Classic? How many of John Steakley's relatives write reviews for him? The basic story was enough of a romp, although the enemy's culture is never explored, but then a second storyline comes in and it 's like somewehere 30 pages went missing. No world development, an empty character... I won't waste any more words on it. Believe me that classic sci fi (Dune, Rama, Neuromancer...)is something vastly different.
