  • A real page turner!

An excellent second novel from Andy Weir. His vision of a lunar community and the novel society that would develop to inhabit it smacks of a plausible near future. He has again written a science fiction novel that was well researched, humorous, and hard to put down. Bravo! And keep em coming!

  • Artemis, Andy Weir's new hit

Artemis is an amazing novel, plain and simple. It goes into science fiction while seeming completely, shocking possible. Overall a great read and an absolute page turner. Just wonderful!

  • Love Andy Weir

Another Andy Weir hit with a quirky freakishly intelligent main character. His attempt at romance and feminism were a bit heavy handed and awkward, but I still loved it.

  • Mediocre at best

The author isn't pulling off the voice of a female Muslim genius. The details of the numerous various scientific concepts, although impressive, is tedious. The resolution of the story, specifically with the administrator, was unsatisfying because it lacked internal consistency, i.e., how does the profferred alternative solution address the issue that the administrator had? And since it really doesn't, there is no way this would have been an acceptable solution. This is a story that teaches more about facts than insight into charactor or the human condition. It's a traditional hero's journey and if that's what you're looking for than this is the book for you. At first I thought the main charactor was crass and off-putting, but once I got over her immaturity, I still found her grating.

    Thanks for your feedback!
