Two Men Connected by Tragedy and Fate

    > > Judging a Book by it's Cover < < Two shirtless men dominate the cover. Thin, scrawling title font. Synopsis is what drew me to this title. > > Looking Deeper < < POV ~> Alternating first-person A single tragedy that tears through both of their worlds finds a way to bring them together. At 23, Chase found himself the legal guardian of his 16-year-old brother, without their home, with no job, and no longer approaching his college graduation. Priorities and perspectives changed. Suddenly, there was not a lot he wouldn't do to take care of his baby brother. Things just did not seem to be working out for new doctor, Noah. The deaths of a couple that came in weighed heavily on him and things were not going well, at all, at home. At his best friend's bridal party, fate struck and the two men met. They may have had a strong chemistry but there were a lot of ups and downs with their relationship due to miscommunication, misunderstandings, lack of trust, and self-doubt. But when two people carry as much baggage as they did, I'd imagine much of the drama would have been par for the course. Secondary characters were great. The plot was dynamic and enjoyable. The story flowed smoothly. The conflicts were plentiful and varied. Predictability was low. The conclusion was solid and satisfying. Overall, I felt this was an entertaining story with a wide variety of emotions. .
