Falling in Love with Della & Tucker

Della and Tucker’s emotional story in Asking for Trouble by Amy Andrews, book three in her Credence, Colorado series, was a humorous, sexy, and emotional story that checks all the boxes. There’s the hot bartender, best friend’s little sister, a woman with emotional baggage getting back into dating scene, Tinder disasters, reluctant wingman, driving instructor, and sex shop shenanigans. Sexy bartender Tucker has watched traumatized Della bloom from her cocoon into a butterfly, wanting a normal life. As Della adjusts to having a normal life, Tucker is the one by her side, helping her, guiding her, and encouraging her; but he drew the line at taking her to explore the sex shop. The scene where these two dissect the Tinder offerings and pictures is hysterical Della asking Tucker to give her sex lessons, even if in secret, showed how far this sex abuse survivor had come. You know Tucker has to be one of the good ones when he remembers Della saying she wanted a dog someday and then brings her one when she moves into her own place. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and they are perfect for each other. Ms. Andrews wrote a wonderful, funny, sexy and emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich that sizzled with their chemistry, humorous conversations, and endearing characters giving Della and Tucker a chance at love, happiness, and a future together. I highly recommend Asking for Trouble to other readers and look forward to reading the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

a five-star read that you will want to ask for

Asking for Trouble by Amy Andrews a five-star read that you will want to ask for. This is the third novel in the Credence, Colorado series, but they truly can be read as stand-alone stories as I haven’t read the whole series and didn’t feel like I missed much as this story focuses on Della and Tucker, there are the amazing characters of Credence like Rosemary who will make you smile and chuckle. Della was a great character and her strength shines through, I loved how she had the spark to fight back, it could have been so much easier for her if she picked someone else, but the heart wants what it wants. What I would give to be sat in Jacks having a cocktail right now.

True RomCom with Feeling, you can't put down

I absolutely loved it all! Della's been in Credence for 3 years now, after having been rescued by her unknown half brother, Arlo. She's been laying low, doing her therapy, both at a therapist's office and rather unknowingly, at Lumberjack's or Jack's, the local bar owned by Tucker, who she's spent a lot of evenings talking to and has a secret crush on. She's now decided she needs to start dating, so she goes on Tinder, of all sites. This is giving her brother apoplexy, and somehow Tucker gets nominated to be her wingman. It just gets better and better. There's definite heat here, and it's oh, so good! Tucker is attracted to Della, but he's got bro code brain, so he's really trying to be a gentleman here, plus he really does respect and admire Della. His little head vehemently disagrees with this, and it's a constant enjoyable battle. Especially when Della decides they need some therapy of the physical kind! This is a small town with all kinds of wonderful, lovable, crazy characters with just as much advice to be given, bc ya know, small towns are not known for minding their business. A fantastic read that has humor, subtle or bust a gut throughout, even with a few serious triggers, not dwelled upon, but more like pushing past them, on the lovable journey that is Della and Tucker's. A true RomCom, fast paced and easy to read, from the beginning to the end, it leaves quite the impression. You can happily lose yourself in this one. A complete stand alone with a very HEA, it is part of a great series too. I received an ARC compliments of #EntangledPublishing through #NetGalley and am giving my honest thoughts and opinions freely

    Such a great romance!

Asking for Trouble tells the story of Della Munroe, who three years after her half-brother, Arlo, rescued her from an abusive marriage, is working on getting her life back. She is going to therapy, she's moved out of her brother's house and she's joined Tinder so she can hopefully experience some of the things that her ex robbed her of. Arlo's best friend Tucker Daniels, owns Lumberjack's Bar and has been someone that Della has trusted since she came back to Credence. When Della encounters a disastrous first date on Tinder, she enlists him to give her pointers and basically be her wingman. When the two share a drunken kiss, things take a drastic turn when Della asks Tucker to teach her the finer points of sex and dating. She knows that he'll respect going slowly and if she needs to stop because she's been triggered, he would get that too. Will these two who have secret feelings for one another really be able to sleep together and then all of a sudden be done? I enjoyed this story and I liked how sweet and tender Tucker was with Della. He understood what had happened to her in the past and he had the right attitude and demeanor to be with her. I liked that Della was strong and she worked her way back when things could have gone the other way for her. I really hope that we get Arlo's story - I'm very intrigued by what that could offer!

    Flirt and sexy with steam

Asking for Trouble is a delightful romp filled with naughty innuendo, sexy descriptions, flirty situations, steam, and humor as two people so obviously meant for each other keep trying to ignore the attraction...at least one of them does. Amy Andrews’ books always provide reading pleasure, interesting plot lines, and defined characters. Add in the belly laughs this book generated and you have a winning combination. Read the description and read the book, but only if you are over 18! It definitely is HOT! I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.
