Historical Christmas Cozy Mystery in NYC

I really enjoy this Historical Cozy Mystery series. This is a wonderful Christmas Story. Molly and Daniel with baby Liam and Birdie are getting ready to celebrate Christmas in New York City. Birdie befriends a begging girl on the street. She and her brother have been left by their mother in a rundown boarding house. Molly is sure there is a mystery about them. While getting ready for Christmas Molly sets out to solve the mystery. There is a lot Historical Christmas and Holiday Background which makes this a great Holiday read. This series should be read in order. There is some mention of previous mysteries in this book. Enjoy this historical Christmas Cozy I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review

    Historic Christmas with Molly

Christmas 1905 is approaching, and Molly is looking forward to spending a quiet holiday with her family. However, a young girl out in the cold attracts her attention, and she feels compelled to find out all she can about this girl’s family. Her mother disappeared months ago. What happened to her? Does the girl have any family left who would take her in? The book gives us a wonderful look at Christmas in another time as we see different traditions we don’t follow any more. But that feeling is balanced by the mystery, which has some serious tones to it. Rhys Bowen balances the two perfectly. Mix in our favorite characters, and you’ve got a Christmas mystery to savor.

A mystery starring the inimitable Molly Murphy Sullivan, humorous, sadness, wickedness and love; importance of family and danger.
