    Amazing!

This book is amazing! In fact, I think I say that about all the books in this series. Janie Crouch has a way of writing that just makes you fall in love with the characters. This is one of my favorite series for sure. Baby Bollinger, younger brother of Finn "Eagle" Bollinger, one of LT's founders, is outgoing, always smiling, always helping people feel better, ready to help, but he hides a secret deep inside. A secret that, if it got out, could change his life. Quinn Harrison-Pritchard, sister of Riley "Phoenix" Harrison, professor at Harvard until her world starts crashing down around her. Accused of doing things she knows she didn't do, she heads to Oak Creek for a new beginning. Unfortunately, things continue in Oak Creek to the point where she's questioning her own sanity. Quinn and Baby are such believable characters. They're well-written and I've fallen in love with them. Each return to Oak Creek is like going home to family and friends. You can read this as a standalone book, but all characters are intertwined in all the books. I've really enjoyed this series and keep thinking that they just can't get any better, but they always do! Disclosure: I received an ARC copy of Janie's book for an honest review and, honestly, if you like RS, then you should definitely read this book -- or the entire series. It's amazing!

Another fantastic book in an amazing series!

4.5 stars (rounded to 5) I love the Linear Tactical series so much! Baby is book 9 and it is still going so strong. Now I do need to be honest, the younger man/older woman trope is really not my favorite, I know it's bad because I have no problem when it is an older man/younger woman but that is just the way I feel. But there are a few authors who do an amazing job with this trope and I can now add Janie Crouch to my very small list. We get a bit of a glimpse of Quinn and Baby in the previous book, Phoenix. Quinn happens to be Boy Riley’s older sister. There was a conversation between Boy Riley and Baby that was quite intriguing. We have also seen Baby in quite a few of the previous books in this series, he is actually the younger brother of Finn (whose book was in Eagle), so it was awesome that we get a more in depth view of the real Baby. He is so much more complex than how he had been portraying himself. His accomplishments are so inspiring. I loved watching him realize his potential and how far he has come. Then to see his friends and family rally around him was so heartwarming. Don’t get me wrong, there is definitely heart pounding suspense intertwined in their story and Baby is involved all the way. My heart broke for all that Quinn had to endure the past few years. She came to Oak Creek to basically lick her wounds and try to figure out what she is going to do with the rest of her life. She has had a rash of such bad luck, to the point that she even started to doubt herself. Quinn is also so much more complex. Even though Quinn is 12 years Baby’s senior, she is really seen as younger, so much more innocent than Baby. Her whole adult life has been sheltered in the academic world so she really does not have the life experiences that Baby does. I loved reading their relationship progress, they both had so many insecurities, but ultimately they were perfect for each other. The support they gave one another and the chemistry was so strong. I thoroughly enjoyed their story. I also cannot forget to give a shout out to Jess and Ethan. There two are only kids but the interaction between these two were hilarious and quite adult like. From what I understand, their story will be the last in this series and I can already tell it will be awesome! But for now, I am so looking forward to the next in this series, Redwood!

    A Spectacular Suspense Romance .

A Spectacular Suspense Romance . I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of BABY . This is book 9 in The Linear Tactical Series . Blake (Baby ) Bollinger all around nice guy and the towns best mechanic came to Quinn Harrison-Pritchards rescue on the first day of her waitressing job and their attraction was immediate . Quinn turning Thirty nine was quit abit older than Baby .Quinn lost her marriage , her job as a teacher at Harvard then black balled . She headed to the town where her brother Riley lives to hopefully collect herself . Soon she finds herself spending more and more time with Baby . When things keep happening to Quinn it will take both Baby and Linear Tactical to save Quinn . This story is a fantastic and well written story . It's emotional and all out fabulous . So suspenseful . I really enjoyed reading it . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

    Fresh and unexpected!

4.5 Stars This is book 9 in the series and it features Blake “Baby” Bollinger and Quinn Harrison Pritchard. The surprises just keep coming in this fabulous book! The romance is classic, beautiful, younger man/older woman, which suits Baby to a tee. The mystery and suspense is top notch, which is exactly what we’ve grown accustomed to with this author. The nickname of “Baby” kept throwing me off and throughout this entire book I was never comfortable calling him “Baby.” Still, the story line is brilliant and the characters are amazing. This author’s stories are always fresh and unexpected.
