  • Fun, Flirty, Easy Read

Bad Judgment is Ryker and Justine's story. This was my first time reading Meghan March and I quite enjoyed this book. Ryker Grant is a swoon worthy hero. He is a dirty talking alpha player with possessive tendencies, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and has a free ride to college. Justine is just the opposite to Rkyer, she's studious, independent, determined, focused, smart and sassy. She's overcome her past to get to where she is today. A recipient of a merit based scholarship, studying her final year of law school. Justine is completely endearing and lik eable. This is a slow burn, drama filled college romance with touches of warmth, humor and romance. I really enjoyed the banter between the characters, and the and not only the hero and heroine, for me Justine's best friend Merica, really added depth to the story. The chemistry between Justine and Ryker was off the charts. Overall this is an enjoyable, easy to read, fun and well written book. I look forward to reading more from this author.

  • Review: Bad Judgment

Bad Judgment by Meghan March is a standalone contemporary romance about not-quite-friends who become lovers and secrets that can make or break a relationship. It is well-paced, well-written, and was an absolute joy to devour! Justine has never had it easy. With her con-artist parents ruining her before she even reached adulthood and her scholarship getting yanked out from under her the only bright spot in her life was her grandpa. He is gone and she is pushing forward into her third year of law school, bound and determined to make ends meet somehow. Ryker is privileged. His father is a supreme court justice and on the board of the law school he and Justine attend. Despite his father's wishes for his future, Ryker is having a crisis of conscience and doesn't want to be a lawyer or a politician anymore. While convinced to stay in law school he is less than willing t participate in any of his classes. So this is where Justine comes in - always pushing Ryker away in the past, determined to ignore his hotness in favor of studying and maintaining a perfect GPA, she has a chance to help him and herself and she is going to take it. But with everyone keeping secrets from each other and her past ready to yank away anything good she ever has, will this fragile relationship that is brewing between Ryker and Justine make it past the stage of physical or are they as doomed as they seem? Loved it. Meghan March is another MUST READ author for me and I haven't been disappointed yet! Enjoy!

Very touching story. I have read a lot of books but never come across a very touching story where the parent was truly devil. They deserved to die with an devil mind. I was touched by Justine's childhood life and she deserved the happiness with Ryker. She has the strength to fulfilled her dream I love her character and Ryker. The author has beautifully written a very good story. Loved it.

  • 4 addictive stars!

As a graduate school student, I rarely get the pleasure of reading book with characters my age and facing similar problems (aka the need to study 24/7), so this was a refreshing read. I know the author went through law school and displayed all the aspects of school life incredibly well! Now, back to why you should read this book. Justine is a third year law student who is highly focused and determined to get her degree while at the same time mantaining killer grades to keep her academic scholarship. Unlike some of her classmates, Justine isn't rich or even slighltly well off. She's studying to become a Legal Aide and wants to graduate debt free (honestly, go Justine!). But while Justine is laser focused on her studies someone else has his eyes centered on her. Ryker Grant, law classmate, is also get Justine to give him the time of day. He is cocky, arrogant and never misses an opportunity to openly flirt with Justine. While she has never reciprocrated his affections, things are about to change. When Justine's scholarship is threatened, she faces an interesting dilemma...either she tutors Ryker or she strips for tuition. Justine thinks she can keep things professional, but Ryker is not about to pass up his chance. Needless to say, there are quite a few twists that I did not anticipate at all. This story was always moving at a great pace (with a few elements of mystery thrown in) but at the heart of it, there was a great and sexy romance between two people who just needed to give each other a chance. I loved Justine's independence and I enjoyed how Ryker not only respected that, but treated her like such a queen. Meghan March has a knack for writing the sweetest alphas around! All in all, a solid standalone from an author I love!
