Could one night really be so bad?

Abigail Roberts is usually the side-kick to her best friend Seraphina, so when the blonde, Thor like man approaches her, she is a little speechless and begins the auto-pilot routine of keeping him at a distance while assuming he is being nice to her in order to get to her friend. Jordan O’Keith is used to getting what he wants, when he wants it, so when Abigail seems to push him away, it only makes him want her more. When he finally gets her to give in, one quickie later and he’s rushing for the door, leaving her laying unsatisfied on her coffee table. When Abigail discovers that her IUD failed, and she is going to become a mother, Jordan thinks the worst of Abigail, pushing her further out of his reach. Will Jordan be able to get Abigail to forgive him? I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

    Band night stand

The premise had promise. The storyline faltered quickly. The switching from first to third person narrative was annoying and unnecessary. The author could've easily bounced between both main character's points of view which would've worked. The way she wrote it, did not. The male lead, Jordan, came across as bipolar and abby was wishy washy and a pushover. I had to force myself to finish the story as it was a chore. I wouldn't reccomend this book.

    Mediocre

Story line is a little predictable. Not a great read but one to pass the time.

    A great and easy read!

Abby goes to a bar with her friend where she meets Thor's twin Jordan. Abby takes Jordan back to her place where she has the quickest and unfulfilling one night stand. Jordan rushes out leaving Abby to finish achieving her orgasm by herself. A few weeks later, Abby finds herself without a job and pregnant. Jordan walks back in to Abby's life and tries to make it up to her for the awful experience. When Jordan finds out that Abby is pregnant, he believes that she has tried to trick him in to giving her money and supporting her. Abby wants nothing to do with Jordan and is trying to succeed on her own in order to support her child and herself. When Abby begins to work for a new company, she is thrown back in Jordan's path. Even though Abby and Jordan are making a muck out of each other's lives, they each want to do what is best for the baby. Will Abby give Jordan another chance to prove that he is different and worthy of being in their lives? Will their pasts tear them apart? I thoroughly enjoyed Bad Night Stand. I found Ms. Faber's tale to be witty and engaging. Her characters were well written and full of depth. The plot kept you guessing what will happen and begging for more. I highly recommend Bad Night Stand to those 18 + due to language and sexual scenes. Thank you Ms. Faber and NetGalley for allowing me to read this book. I look forward to reading more of your work.
