    Well Worth Reading

This is an informative and well written tale of one man's journey walking the entire Appalachian Trail. The book begins with brief introduction by a few of the people he meets on the Trail and their reasons for making this grueling trip. As a group, they have a lot of "issues" and the reader will not always be sympathetic to the narrator or his friends but overall it is a story worth reading although the ending was somewhat anti-climatic. It was realistic, detailed and kept my interest from beginning to end and should appeal to the serious hiker as well as the armchair traveler.
